That Christmas Feeling!!!!!!!!!

Good morning to you all in the land of blog
Today is my day to showcase some of those gorgeous products from

Wild Rose Studio

I decided to use some of those wonderful Christmas Images and made a card and a candle set using

Posting Letters

with the gorgeous Annabelle

So I will start with my card and apologise for the change of lighting on my photography.
I used Kraft as the base colour and then layered with some of my older paper pads, that old I have not font on them.  I then added my image and the nestie banner/ribbon sentiment before adding my full array of flowers in the main from the  Hobby House and of course a sprinkling of the Hobby House pearls.

Here is the image coloured in copics with stickles for the glitter and some white gel for the snow, the image is from Wild Rose Studio and is called
Now apologising again but the candle photography is a little heavy to say the least but here we go

Here is the side view showing the matching florals again from the Hobby house in the main.

The top view now this is from one of the wonderful pearl flourish sets from the Hobby House, and fits perfectly around the top wick.

This is the rear view and the sentiment is the same inside the card, you can see the added lace at the bottom on this one too.

and finally the image on the candle, Annabelle looks great on a candle doesn't she.

here is my inspirational piece, but do hop over  to the main challenge site to see the rest of the amazing inspiration from my sister meeces :) I do have to warn you this may be slightly photo heavy

I was asked to create several of my altered tins for my MIL who wants to add them to her new hobby of selling on craft stalls, best of both worlds, I enjoy creating and she sells them and I get some money back - bonus :)

So here is one of those tins, this one started life as a dog tin full of biscuits.

This is the front view
On this view you can see the lace around the top lip, the image our adorable House Mouse with an appropriate sentiment, the gorgeous Hobby House flourishes, please see the link in my sidebar and one angle of the flowers all paper and hand made with the addition of Hobby House pearls and brads.

This is one of the side views, here you can see the handmade flowers a little better, I used a range of dies, I am sure you will spot all of your favourites.

Here is the other side again with those flowers :)

This is the back with the sentiment on it, the die is a nestie by the way - this is the one I could not use until I got my new wax papers, genius whoever created that

This is the top, the bobble is made of black honeycomb paper (love this stuff) and the edging is plaited black ribbon from the Hobby House.

The image close up coloured in warm, cool, neutral and toner greys.

and I thoroughly enjoyed creating this although it lasted a few days and maybe a little over indulgent in the pearls department but I think very worth it.

Do hop over and join us for the challenge :)

The Holly and The Ivy with the Winter Wonderland Design Team

Good morning to you all in the land of blog

Today sees the next challenge at the

Where Team Icicles are in the hot seat, with the very talented  Pauline hosting with the theme of

The Holly and the Ivy

Our fabulous sponsor this week is

offering the lucky winner to of their wonderful stamps.

Now I decided to go with the Holly aspect of the theme so here is my take on the theme but don't forget to hop over to the main challenge blog to check out the wonderful inspiration there for you.

As you know I adore my House Mouse images so could not resist using one of them.

The base layer here is a pearlescent red and I have used up some of my old papers again.  The grand decorative circle nestie had an issue in the machine, so I adapted it slightly.  The sentiment sits on a nestie banner/ribbon and all finished off with the little red bow, lace and pearls from the Hobby House.

Here is a close up of the image
As always I would like to thank all of my wonderful visitors and followers for their inspiring comments, which encourage me and allow me to hop over in return to see their gorgeous work and welcome my new followers.

Good morning to you all
Today is my day to share with you my creation for

The base layer is some textured kraft card and I have used those gorgeous new papers from

I used my grand nestie circles to create the lovely layer and then added those gorgeous embellies, in the main the flowers are from the hobby house, the ribbon and pearls and little antique bird charm are also.  The dies are from Memory box and Cheery Lynn. You can find all the Hobby House products on their site.

Here is a close up of the image using the no line technique, TH DI Old Paper and coloured in copics.  I added some frantage around the image too.
