Good afternoon to you all out there in the land of blog.
Today is the last day of the weekend, and the last day of my week off and my have I relaxed, just what was needed.
Today I have made a Baby Girl Birth Card, the request not a drop of pink or yellow any where. So I remembered a card I did some time ago and had bought a square punch for. It makes quite a large card and has to be made from a 12 x 12 plain card stock, but it is a fantastic size to work with.
The sketch over at the Allsorts Challenge has it's base design. So decided to use this, my original did not have an image it just had a few baby bits on three of the squares. Here is the sketch that is provided by the very talented Emma.
I am also entering this card into the following challenges
Fussy and Fancy - Monochromatic and wings
Charisma Cardz - All About the Bling
Sweet Stampin Challenge - Clean and Simple
Just Cute Bears - Monochrome
Stamptacular - Cute as A Bug and Baby if you can (just perfect)
So onto the Card
The papers are Heather from the Papermania Capsule Mono collection. The outside card is a purple foil as is the layer for the image. The image platform is embossed with those gorgeous little hearts and the corners have little purple gems on them. The image is AnneBodil a free digi download which originally had balloons above it, I cut them off for the butterfly instead, which was just perfect for this card. The butterfly is from Rui Tong.
Here is a close up of the image showing the glitter string that the butterfly has picked up to carry the cute bear.
and here is the beautiful feather butterfly that I have blinged up with extra glitter. (Polly and Sue I know it was my challenge piece but it took me a while to find a perfect item for it to go on)
Well I have some ironing to do this afternoon, and the Sunday dinner to make, Matt is still fishing and Mike is preparing his car for work.
I would like to welcome Miriam to my little corner of blog land.
Thank you to everyone for all your recent lovely comments, which make me smile as I read them all. I have enjoyed having having the time to hop over to see you all.
I ordered my new bits from my win yesterday so cannot wait for my order from Simon Says Stamp, so I can play. This time I went for some more House Mouse Stamps. Watch out post lady :)
OK enough I cannot put of the ironing any longer.
Hugs and Happy Crafting to you all
