Good morning to you all in the land of blog
Today sees the new challenge at the
This week's theme was chosen by our very own Wendy, owner of the Secret Crafter shop
Remember you can only buy the Secret Crafter Manga images from the Secret Crafter and they are normally not available any where else, but I am excited to tell you that they are now being sold in the polymer's at Grimsby Crafts.
So Wendy chose the theme of Masculine, just perfect for those Father's Day Cards
so here is what I created for my inspirational piece
I created a fishing related card......................oh you know me too well :)
I used some navy blue card as the first layer and the contrast for the Nellie Snellen Dies The wood effect paper was out of a magazine as was the inner one, which you can just see. Doesn't it look fabulous. The Sentiment is from My Sentiments exactly and the image is a Penny Black. Here is the card face on.
here is a close up of the unusual embellishments. Now I admit these are not normally seen on cards and may I say at £1 over per little fishing float, rather a tad too expensive for regular use. However I felt that they really finished off the card, and besides I adored the cute colours and the size of them.
Not sure that they will actually get used once the card is ready for the bin, as my men don't actually float fish!
Now don't forget to pop over and take a look at the rest of the fabby team creations for additional inspiration.
I would like to enter this creation into the following challenges

AliFactory - Use Something New (the floats)
