Good morning to you all
Today sees the next challenge at the
with the fabulous owner of the Secret Crafter Wendy choosing our theme of
Create a Scene
Now this sort of through me out of my little box, and I really struggled to come up with something, until I remembered I had won a gift from Paper Creator and at the time I had chosen this Shelf Card Digi download kit. Never done one before and not sure if will again, but it was an interesting crafting session all the same. They say it is good to try something new and I will have to agree. So whilst on the theme of new, I have to tell you that I got a box of 100 latex gloves yesterday and can airbrush to my hearts content without spraying my nails - whoop whoop!!!!!! so will be off to play again once I have done a little ironing, although the sun is out which always says to me colouring in the garden, so let's see what happens. Oh and Sam thank you for the offer and for pointing out that I have spent my week catching up on the house work, I know this is not me, but after the ironing (if that happens) all will be well............... thank you for your concern :)
So this is the shelf card that I created for today's challenge
As you can see there are lots of little pieces that were hand cut out and then slotted into little openings, several layers and even a boxed envelope to match.
I added icicles stickles to all the snow topped trees.
Please don't forget to hop over to the challenge blog to see my design team buddies, wonderful creations, and hope you enjoy the challenge
I would like to welcome all my new followers and wish you all well in the 300 follower candy. For those of you that have not yet entered the 300 follower candy you can do so here, thank you to Feline for now advertising my candy too.
OMG!!!! you lot are the best ever 431 followers, I am totally astounded, cannot believe it and even better more candy to buy for September Whoop Whoop !!!!!!! I currently have 170 entrants, and would dearly love to reach 300 entrants by the closing date, so if you already follow me - do pop your name in the hat :)
As always and very importantly I would like to say thank you to all my wonderful visitors who take the time to leave such inspirational comments on my blog, allowing me to hop back over to see your own beautiful work. THANK YOU!! without you all blog land would not be such a lovely place to be :)
