Home For Xmas with Tilda

Good evening to you all in the land of blog
and wow what a productive weekend I have had :)  the cold seems to be moving on and has just left the horrid dry tickly cough behind and in between the continuous coughing I managed to get some colouring done, which considering how awful I feel is a miracle in itself.

This is what I have been playing with all weekend.  I got the HOME sign for £1, a bargain, but it did look a little old dirty and tired, so felt it needed a spruce up.  Now and again, I love to create something different so I have made a wall plaque for Xmas. So sorry on the full photograph do not have anywhere in the home to photograph it in good light, so I hope you can see it okay.
So the HOME sign was painted in gesso and then painted with an acrylic mother of pearl paint, before being airbrushed with BG05 and RV06.  To this I have added nearly all my available Xmas Tilda's sitting, standing and leaning, oh okay one is not really a Xmas one but needed another sitting image :)  All of the images have been coloured in copics with gold stickles and clear glitter sakuro for the wings.
Here are some close ups as best I could
The H and O, hope you can see the added foot snow which is the clear spun glass and the top fluffy snow which is of course the polar white Flower Soft and the little snow flakes falling which are pretty pearls from the Hobby House.  The trees and Snowflakes airbrushed in BG05 have then been embossed with holographic embossing powder.
This is the M and E, I am totally in love with my air brush system, it totally rocks.........
Here is the plaque which hangs underneath
This plaque follows the Sketch at Magnolia Down Under
I used my baby wipes to wet the edges of the pages to allow me to roll and distress the edges before, using my air brush system to distress with E15 the edges of the papers.  A ribbon of pearls was added and over the top of this some delish lace all topped off with the matching Tilda's and Snowflakes.  The sentiment was computer generated.

I would like to welcome all my new followers and wish you all well in the 500 follower candy.   For those of you that have not yet entered the 500 follower candy you can do so here, and thank you to Feline for advertising my candy for me :)

Totally awesome, you guys are amazing................thank you so much :) 578 followers, if you are already follow me please don't forget to put your name in the hat :)

As always and very importantly I would like to say thank you to all my wonderful visitors who take the time to leave such inspirational comments on my blog, allowing me to hop back over to see your own beautiful work. THANK YOU!!
