Santa Claus is Coming To Town with the Winter Wonderland Design Team

Good morning to you all in the land of blog
Today sees the next challenge at the


with the theme this week being hosted by the very talented Debbie, the theme is

Santa Claus is Coming To Town

So here is what I created for my design team inspirational piece but don't forget to hop on over to the main challenge site to see the rest of the design teams gorgeous creations.
 The base layer and contrast here is gold mirror card, with some gorgeous papers that are that old, I am sorry I cannot remember what they are but they are gorgeous and come in many colours.  The image is WOJ and the little bows from stash and bells from the Hobby House

Here is a close up of the the image coloured in copics with some liquid appliqué for the furry bits

    Hi Kate - what a fantastic card. Love the way you've popped him up to give a 3D image and the liquid applique looks brilliant. Sorry not to have visited in the last couple of weeks but life's been hectic to say the least......including trying to refurbish a room to move all my craft stash into (don't ask.....nightmare; but will be wonderful when it's finished!).

    Lovely card Kate the papers are by Craft Creation the red is SR106P. I have them in Red & Green love the finishing touches with the mini bells & bows. Hugs Janet

    Did I say I love the double bows on previous cards, have you done a tutorial for them?

    As always Kate this is gorgeous. I recognise the papers as I've used some of them the last couple of weeks. I got mine from the Making Cards magazine - those red ones are beautiful and i loved using them xx
