Seasons Greetings Mum

Good morning to you all

What has happened to all the lovely warm weather, I have put my Summer  stuff away and got my warmer clothes out.  Do you think it has anything to do with me being in Winter Christmas Card Creating mode?

On that note here is another CAS Christmas Card using those Cardio - Majestix stamps, will be adding this to my box for the Christmas fayres.

I used a white card blank and used one layer of black card stock to frame the white card I stamped onto.  I added stickles for that Christmas sparkle

I would like to say thank you to all of my followers for visiting and leaving such inspirational comments, I will be hopping over shortly.

So cute!!

Good morning to you all

I am back again to show you some more of my playing using those new

Wild Rose Studio

so using
Dies - Snow Frame

here is my acetate bowed front Christmas Card

I used a base layer and contrast of cream.  I placed those lovely papers on top of the base layer, before adding two strips of holly punched edging down the sides to hold the acetate.  I added the coloured image on the beautiful die, before adding a strip of acetate slightly longer than the card to create the bow front, when placed into the holly punched edges.  I then finished off with Phil Martin cosmic shimmer in the red and a string of pearls on each side.

This is the side view showing the snowy acetate bow front

The image is coloured in copics with glossy accents on the balloons and some stickles on the poinsettia centre.

Frosty Xmas

Good morning to you all

Well as you know it is my day to inspire you using those fabulous products from

Wild Rose Studio

and today I have been playing with those new dies from the

Christmas 2015 New Release

So using
Sentiment - Swirly Greetings
Dies - Elegant Frames, and Frosted Butterfly along with Little Frosted Butterfly

here is my WOW Xmas card

This is a 6" card blank from WhichCraft, with those lovely scalloped edges

I have only used white cardstock and stickles frosted lace and some rhinestones to create this card.

I ran the top layer through my grandcallibur using the large butterfly to emboss only, before layering up the lovely new frames with foam tape and adding the stickles around the edges on the small butterflies and then the rhinestones to finish.

Such a frosted look

Book Folding

Good morning to you all

It's a new challenge over at

and the theme is

Anything Goes
with ribbon

I decided to go a little vintage again and tried out my first ever book folding.  I made this for a birthday present, I just now need to figure out how to present it.

I first off located my book and then obtained the pattern, before spending a week relaxing and folding, in the sun.  I decorated the back of the book in decoupage papers as it was a little unsightly before adding some flowers with brad centres and of course the lovely worded ribbon from Crafty Ribbons

The ribbon is from this gorgeous range
vintage butterflies ribbon
you can find them here

Wild Rose Studio Christmas 2015 New Releases

Good morning to you all

I am thrilled to be showing you my first creation using those

Christmas 2015

New Releases

You can see them all by clicking on the link

here

obviously I made a Christmas Card :) so now I can show you the full thing

Using
Image - Teddy Behind Present
Papers - Painted Poinsettias

I made a 15 cm square card with an acetate front.

I made the card base and then cut away most of the front.  I added a piece of acetate the same size as the back to the front.  I covered this with a piece of green card layered with those gorgeous new papers to cover the join of the card to the acetate.  I then added the panel at the back in the same layers.  I had coloured up my image, so I cut around this and placed it on the front on the acetate.  I added some ribbon and a string of pearls to the top front, a daisy and some holly glittered up to the front left and then added lots of tiny pearls for a snow effect.  The sentiment on this one is from my stash.

here is a close up of this new image coloured in copics, with some Atyou glitter pens, a sakuro clear star glitter pen and a little platinum stickles along with some glossy accents for the balloons.

As always I would like to say thank you to all of my lovely visitors for their wonderful comments, I will be hopping over to see you shortly, well once I have finished playing ;)

Wild Rose Studio

I went with a Get Well Soon card this time around.

Using
Sentiment - Everyday Sentiments
Papers - Silverton Hall

This is a 6" square card with scallop edges and comes in a white depth box

The base layer and contrast is grey and I have used a Martha Stewart PATP to create the centre panel.  I cut out the image with the grand nestie oval and then added the border using the matching scallop die.  I added some gorgeous grey ribbon in a triple layer single bow, before adding a fancy button a two little flowers, finishing off with the little pearls.

Happy Birthday

Good morning to you all

Today I am sharing with you a card order for a little girl that I received, the brief, my little pony, pink, purple and glitter, here is how I got on.

A 6" square scallop edge card, which was presented in a white depth box

I sued white glitter card for the base layer and contrast and some Papermania capsule collection purple papers.  I added three layers in panels before adding some pleated baby pink ribbon, a string of pearls, three little bows, a banner computer generated sentiment, a little rose and finished off not with pearls but with liquid pearls in a glittery pinky/red (for safety) I used the doily MS punch for the end of the banner.

oh the image was off the web it was one of those colour me ones :)
