Good morning to you all
It's a new challenge over at
and the theme is
Anything Goes

Anything Goes
with ribbon
I decided to go a little vintage again and tried out my first ever book folding. I made this for a birthday present, I just now need to figure out how to present it.
I first off located my book and then obtained the pattern, before spending a week relaxing and folding, in the sun. I decorated the back of the book in decoupage papers as it was a little unsightly before adding some flowers with brad centres and of course the lovely worded ribbon from Crafty Ribbons
The ribbon is from this gorgeous range
you can find them here
I would like to say hello and thank you to all of my visitors, I will be hopping over shortly.
I would like to enter the following challenges
Crafty Sentiments - Anything Goes
Shopping our Stash - Distress
Through The Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
Artistic Inspiration - Anything Goes
Crafting from the Heart - Anything Goes
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
Not Just Cards - Anything Goes
Decorate to Celebrate - Anything Party related decorated
The paper shelter - Anything Goes
Simon Says - Sparkle and Shine (used guilding wax on the leaves of the book and glitter on the flowers just not showing that well)
Have a great day

What a lovely piece Kate. Jenny will love it xx
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Kate. I have started book folding this year too, I love it. I found the best way to present it was in a gift bag, either a bought one, or get a plain one and decorate it to match.
ReplyDeleteYour friend will love this

Oh Wow, That's so Awesome! I Love anything Vintage. I made a Tree out of a Magazine a couple of years ago and spray painted it and added glitter. I still find glitter here and there. Ha! Thanks for Sharing!
