The Wonders of WOYWW

Good morning to you all
and hello to Heather who has recently joined my little section of blog land

Well yesterday I was busy working away in my craft room, popping in and out into the sunshine and waiting for my car to come back from its service and MOT.  Most impressed that only one thing needed replacing and it will now run nicely for another year (fingers crossed)

Matt came back from fishing on Sunday evening around 9am and had caught around 30 fish.  Now that you would think is awesome until he told us that some were goldfish size and did not even get the hook but were sucking that hard on the maggot that he was able to still catch them - they must have been hungry little fishes.

Anyway to the theme of the day Julia's What's on your work space Wednesday WOYWW,  well today's images are of the newly organised worktop with the engagement card mess on it.  A lowly 3/10 on the messy scale I believe.
and
and the view from my window on Tuesday
I tried a different angle, the hanging baskets are filled with hanging tomatoes which we are picking every day.

Oh and Sam yes I have something planned for each day of our holiday.  Today for instance Matt is at the dentist and of course I will go with him to support him as he did me on Monday.  After that we are going to get some bits so we can repair the shed roof, would not want the water getting in on the fishing gear now....................hang on fishing gear is used in the water ???  oh well fixing roof anyway.
So yesterday I also had time to create this lovely little creation ready for a little someone's birthday, she is such a girly girl and I think she will love this.
No sketch followed on this one
These are again Capsule Papers Aqua this time from the Papermania Range with the matching ribbon and bows.  The lace is from a local department store and both of the punches are Martha Stewart and from the Hobby House.  The sentiment is a MSE one.  Now the image has the lace neatly added all around the image plate.  The image plate itself has been stamped around the lovely Tilda image.  MS punch is added behind that for a more dramatic effect.  Pearls are added to the swirls on the image plate and along the sentiment.  Two large pearls hold the easel up.  The green buds are from Hobby Craft and the cherry blossom in white from Running With Scissors I believe.  I added flower soft for the flowers and for the grass for more depth.

The inner return on a close up
The front on a close up

The flowers on a close up
and finally the image coloured in copics with the flower soft additions on a close up
I really enjoyed creating this one again.

So I am entering this card into the following challenges

Magnolia Down Under - Easel Card - I love getting time to enter this challenge

Daring Card Makers - Peridot where may I remind everyone that Julia of WOYWW is with Daring Card Makers this month as a GDT. (now that really isn't the reason I added this card to this post- it just happened)

Well that is me for now, might be back later depends how we get on with the shed roof.

Thank you to all my visitors and all of those who take the time to comment as you pass by, love reading your comments and visiting you all back, as I am off this week I am managing to get a little further a field too.

So enjoy the rest of your Wednesday

Happy WOYWW day

Kate xx

I know we can have a list of names, mine can be 10 for can't get messier than and one of the 'neat freaks' can claim the # one spot, lol.

  33. Definitely not too messy. 3/10 probably too messy - more of a 2/10 cos it's all easily tidyupable - new word, he, he. Pretty colours on the card. Happy WOYWW!

  34. Lovely workspace, so bright. Um maybe you can claim another point for the clutter on the floor, making it a 4/10 on the messy scale. The birthday card is gorgous.
