Cool Dude

Good morning to you all

Today I thought I would share with you a scrapbook layout.  This is going to be one of many layout's for a scrap book I am putting together for my son and his first child.

I started off with the photo's and picked the layout colours from these.  I used a red card to create the frame for the photo's and then added the wording, before adding the stars.  The shaping on the layout was from one of the shapes on the scan and cut. I used the scan n cut to create the wording and the stars again were from one of the shapes in the scan n cut.

I have loved getting back into my scrap layouts and have already started my next.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend and that this sun that is shining at the moment stays with us.

happy crafting all

Pretty in Purple meets little Bunny

Good morning

Today I am here to share with you my weekly creation for

I went for a Birthday Card for a dear friend,  these papers are so pretty and loved working with all the purple hues.

I used

This is a 15 cm square made card blank.

The contrast on this one is some lovely textured cream card stock, which works really well with these gorgeous papers.  I added a circle of the background papers which has been embossed to a scallop circle and placed this behind the rectangle image.  I added some lovely crafty ribbons lace which matched perfectly, behind the image and then airbrushed some flowers and added this down the other edge.  Placing the sentiment which has been airbrushed to get the lovely colour and some tonic drops pearls and some lilac pearls to complete the look.

The image is coloured in copics and I added some gold gel pen for the butterfly detailing and also some platinum stickles in the centre of those flowers.  The greenery has been coloured with an Atyou Glitter pen.

I am entering the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge this week as they are showcasing Wild Rose Studio - The challenge is Anything Goes

Do hope you will join me

I thank everyone for all of their lovely comments and I will be back again soon and thank you for taking the time to view my blog, my items are now for sale on my etsy shop

Happy Birthday Niece

Good morning

Here I have another creation created with the latest

The full release can be found on the website here , along with the stockists.

I went for a Birthday Card, and I have to say I adore these papers, don't think these will last me long.

I used
Image - Cat with Heart
Papers - Vintage

This is a 15 cm square made card blank.

The contrast on this one is some lovely textured cream card stock. With a layer of the written script added on top of the fancy circle nestie.  Unfortunately this got hidden with all the embellishments.  I added the image and then added gold diamante string around this before adding two pearl hearts, the triple double ribbon, the florals, the sentiment and then those lovely tiny pearls.

The image is coloured in copics.

A close up of those florals.

I thank everyone for all of their lovely comments and I will be back again soon and thank you for taking the time to view my blog, my items are now for sale on my etsy shop

New Craft Room and First Card Made in It!!

Good morning

Here I am again with my latest creation for

Wild Rose Studio

Design Team.  I created this little number in my new craft room and I used.

Image - Dragon Running
Papers - Natural Textures

But before I show you my creation, as promised here are the photo's of the new craft room.  I love it, down stairs and the girls can come in and out as they please and on a plus as it is Summer, it is not baking as it use to be in my upstairs room and the only downside is I cannot view the street like I use to but I do have a tv in the room which is a bonus. Thank you to my wonderful husband Matt for putting up all the worktop, laying the laminate flooring and putting the tv up on the wall.

I am still trying to find everything again, but did on the move find things that I had forgotten about.

So on to the card, a birthday card for a sister

This is a 6" square scalloped card blank.

With a lovely fresh feel to it.  Using this lovely sweet dragon, and layering up with those gorgeous papers.  A little distressing on the image plate, which was also embossed with some hearts.  I added the triple double ribbon, a Cameo on a frame, those florals airbrushed with my copics.  The sentiment and some tonic pearl drops in orange to complete the look.

The image is coloured in copics with a little extra added depth using the spectrum noir pencils.

I thank everyone for all of their lovely comments and I will be back again soon and thank you for taking the time to view my blog, my items are now for sale on my etsy shop

Happy Birthday Mum

Good morning

Well I believe that I am now well and truly in my new craft room, I will get some photo's sorted shortly.  It is lovely to be able to craft downstairs, where my grandson can come visit me and my lovely girls can some sit in the room with me.  With it being Summer I also don't fry when I go into my craft room.

So today I am here with my weekly creation for

I went for a Birthday Card for a Mum, I adore the colours in these papers, it doesn't matter what image I chose the colours always work so well with this little dragon.  So

I used
Image - Dragon Birthday
Papers - Butterflies

This is a 15 cm square made card blank.

The contrast on this one is some lovely textured cream card stock. As you do when you have a move around, I found lots of lovely items that I have not used for ages, and probably forgot I had.  The first one on this card was the pretty Marianne die, creating a lovely frame for the image.  I then added the sentiment, once I had never actually used before, with the ability to personalise the card.  I then added a bow that was already made up.  I added a charm and a pearl medallion to this.  I then used my air brush system to match up some flowers and also sprayed some card stock to make perfectly matching foliage.  I used tonic pearl dots to complete the look.  I might have gone OTT on this, but love the way the card turned out.

The image is coloured in copics and used little strokes to create the texture, these are now in my craft room and I can colour whilst watching tv, so exciting.

I thank everyone for all of their lovely comments and I will be back again soon and thank you for taking the time to view my blog, my items are now for sale on my etsy shop
