Sad Farewell

Good morning to you all

I hope you had a fabulous Christmas Day.  Today as this posts, I will be preparing to cook and host the annual Christmas Boxing Day family day, expecting 9 this year.

So onto the Sad News, usually around this time of year, one takes the time to consider and put ones life into perspective and then comes the New Year and we make those resolutions.  Well I did the thinking and today I am sad to say this is my last post for

Crafty Ribbons

Ali has been fabulous and using her gorgeous products has been wonderful, but sometimes you think that there is more to life than just making cards and blogging, and my house, home and family need a little of my attention.  As a family we are looking forward to a new little bundle joining Gem at the beginning of March, which will be a handful, but then Gem is in need of some company, since the passing of Star.

So here is my last card for the design team

Have a lovely holiday break

Noel

Good morning to you all

Today is my day to inspire you using ribbons from the gorgeous selection at

Crafty Ribbons

my creation today uses this ribbon

Christmas Charm Ribbon - Trees

from the Christmas Charm Range

This card has a base layer of pearlescent green and has pearls to match.  The top layer is embossed with one of my new embossing folders, and the ribbon well that was all that was needed to complete the card, as it is such fun ribbon to use and great to make bows with, my signature thing as you know.  I added a a little of the gorgeous lace available in the store too.

I would like to say hello and thank you to all of my visitors, I will be hopping over shortly.  Don't forget I have candy in my side bar if you have not already entered

Have a great day

Pop Up Christmas

Good morning all

It is the next challenge at

CRAFTY RIBBONS

and the theme this time is

Cultural

I have used some of those gorgeous new ribbons

from

Happy New Year Range

So I made a 5" card with an inner reveal

here is the front using some gorgeous embellies a lovely sentiment and of course one of those

Wild Rose Studio
Christmas 2015 Dies, the poinsettia

I cut the inner reveal which pops out using my silhouette cameo I wrapped the ribbon around and stamped a sentiment before adding to my black card stock (this is one of the specialty cards from the Create and Craft pack)

For the front I added a black layer then a blue layer to match the ribbon before adding another black layer and the sentiment.  I finished off with pearl/rhinestone embellishment, ribbon, rhinestone sparklers an IAR carnations and a charm.

I would like to say thank you to all of my followers for visiting and leaving such inspirational comments, I will be hopping over shortly.
