Wild Rose Studio DT = Less is More

Good evening to you all in the land of blog

I am showing you today
One of the New Releases
at

If you thought that Bella was lovely to work with well Tilly is just as gorgeous
This is my Less is More for this weeks Challenge of Flourishes so I added the flourishes to the corners to frame Tilly with Gift, I used some old Prima packaging, and used the backing card as a stencil to dab my Tim Holtz Mulled Lavender through, to create the soft flourishes.  I then stamped my image and my sentiment.
Image - Wild Rose Studio Tilly with Gift
Sentiment - Wild Rose Studio from the Sentiment and Image pack Tilly with flowers

Tilly has been coloured in copics, with the little hearts coloured with Atyou Glitter pen in the deep purple, shame you cannot see the glitter on the photograph.  I used the Glitter pen on the dots of the flourishes and finished off with one purple bling gem in each corner.
Tilly is gorgeous to colour as are all the Wild Rose images

If you want to see more of the collection or be inspired by others hop and see us on
or in the

Colouring Tutorial and Wild Rose Studio

Good afternoon to you all in the land of blog
Today I am going to show you my first ever colouring tutorial using my new web cam
(must remember in future that I don't want my nose, lips and occasionally my glasses showing in the clip!!!)

The image I have used for this is Cali Girl which is by Crafts and me, I chose this one as it is digital and I could increase the size to help you see more clearly what I was doing.
The copic colours used are E11, E00 and E000.

But before we go there, I have been so inspired by all the Jubilee celebrations that I just had to create a little number with one of my cute friends, so here is Bella with balloons who is celebrating with us here in the UK. The image as always coloured in copics. Oh and bunting hand drawn by me :)
I would like to enter her into the following challenge

Less Is More - Red, White and Blue

right now where was I oh yes the video, with a bit of a shove from Sam and Martin, the video is too big too upload through blogger but you can find it,
on You Tube
but please watch the whole video as initially the way I do it may confuse you :)

I would love to hear your constructive comments, to improve my future videos

thank you

Less Is More with Red White and Blue

Good morning to you all in the land of blog
I am back to earth after the celebrations, we had a great Hog Roast in a Barn which goes without saying it was line dancing, a bar and a raffle.  Had some gorgeous crackling but did not over do it, Matt won on the raffle, and got tickets for swimming (not our thing) but gave the tickets to Hannah and Mike for a trip out :)  The street party was not on the street, but plan B was in the barn and a good day had by all.  Matt went fishing and came second - and entered into the big win match at the end of the season.  We went to Donny Dome to the fishing show, Matt got a new pole, a pole rest and Mike got some new alarms.  The weather held to fill our skip and now we can get into the garage...........................a good extended jubilee weekend so far.

Yesterday I managed to get a couple of cards done for my DT work, and also this little quickie.  The challenge at Less Is More this week is as expected Red, White and Blue.  So here is what I came up with.
Base card is blue with the interior being white, just perfect for the inner sentiment.  The red ribbon is run through, tied in a little bow behind.  Two little bows with diamante's either side the Cheery Lynn die heart, such a pretty die this one.  The words are from some very old metal dies from cuttlebug don't think I have actually used them before, came across them whilst looking for my holly die, but think they will be coming out to play more often now.

I quite like this one, what do you think?

Well I would like to say hello to my new followers and thank all of my followers and visitors for the time taken to leave such inspirational comments.  I love being able to hop over to see all of your own beautiful creations.

I am entering this card into the following challenges
Less is More - Red White and Blue
Craft Your Days Away - Red White and Blue
One Stop Craft - Diamonds, Red, White and Blue
Delightful Challenges - Red, White and Blue

well hope you all are having a lovely time especially like me you are on an extended break, catch up with you soon

I made an easel card for a change, have not done one of these for a while.  The base layer is a chocolate brown card, with some orange Papermania papers.  The sentiment is MSE and a matching pair, perfect for a friendship card.  The pearls from the Hobby House and the little fans to match the image - made by me :)

Here are some close ups
The Image is from the unmounted rubber stamps sets by Joanna Sheen and is called "Drinks"
Although I love the fact that the drinking mouse, is looking rather sun burnt and health where as the fan slave mousey is looking rather be draggled
