A Change of Scene with Rupert's Party and a Birthday Card

Good evening to you all and today I am starting to change the scene from Winter (think I have had enough of the snow) to a Birthday Card

but before I move on I would like to refresh your memories

and ask you to support a very worthwhile cause here

as well as to remind you that the CDAC December Challenge has just started here

and the Stampin with the Dragon Challenge has one more week to run here

Here is my creation

This is Rupert's Party, I made this for a little girl, this digi image can be purchased here.  The base layer is a pale pink with some lovely floral blue backing paper.  The MS punch used for the edges with little blue pearls from the Hobby House, Jill does a fabulous offer on these.  I added some stripy paper behind the image with two layers of the MS doily punch and some pretty lace all finished off with the lovely ribbon tied into a bow.  The image coloured with copics and highlighted with a white gel pen.  The sentiment is off another forever friends stamp.

I am entering this into the following challenges
Cute and Girly - Children
Fab N Funky - Birthday
Anything Goes - Congratulations
Crafty Little Place - Anything Goes
Party Time Tuesdays - Birthday and Anything Goes
Tuesday Throwdown - Embellish it
Some Odd Girl - Make it Uber Girlie

Just a short one from me today, and thank you to those of my lovely visitors that leave me such lovely comments and thank you for visiting me.

Please take care everyone if you are out and about in "Blizzard Britain" at the moment and if you are walking to work please wrap up warm :)

Hugs Kate xx
