Good morning to you all in the land of blog
Yesterday I got everything bar the ironing done, which I will do today after I have been to teach my class, I did not do it yesterday as I was crafting in my Beach Hut :) such a fabulous excuse.
This is one of the creations I made yesterday, this is a Birthday card for the step mother in law, now please notice the totally different approach on this one, as this one definitely suits the occasion.
Base layer and contrast on this one is black and I have used the Papermania Mono Collection papers, which are so very versatile. I have used my around the page punch from MS once as an edge punch and twice as a corner punch. The ribbon is from my stash as is the pearls and cheesecloth, the little corners are from Hobby House and flowers from Wild Orchid. The image is from Tickled Pink and is called

She has been coloured in copics using the warm, cools, neutrals and toner greys, with a little clear gel sakuro glitter. Don't you just love working in monotones :)

Kate this card is completely gorgeous. I love the beautiful monochromatic tones youve used. And little Lolita is coloured to perfection. I havent used any of these beautiful images before, but will definitely be getting some after seeing this card. Really stunning.
