Totally Awesome Day - Yesterday

Good evening to you all

now this may be a little bit of strange post for most of you, but I just have to show you what I was doing yesterday :) and the reason that I have done very little or no crafting in my beach hut so far this holiday.

After an early start to take my son to his new job, as a Lifeguard (whoop whoop), my dearest hubby Matt, drove me to Doncaster to meet up with Lols aka Lorraine's Loft and Christine aka Nanaseaside, we missed our Tracy but hopefully next time she will be able to join us.

Matt not only the chauffeur for the day but also the photographer took some photographs of us spending :) well you just have to don't you.  He took that many that I was unable to zip them over to Lols and Christine, but I am sure they will pick them up from here

We met up at Which Craft and spent quite a while browsing and chatting in the store after a lovely coffee in their coffee shop, we then went around the market and Matt bought serious sours, and Lols and I accepted one, mine came out my mouth in seconds swiftly followed by Lol's and there we were holding a sweet in our fingers.  This prevented Lols buying her fish, so I had to relieve her of it and find a bin we then moved into the outside market (a must for ribbon and lace ladies) before a light lunch / coffee and home before Christine missed her train. Matt nearly got a parking ticket (phew just missed us) and then we came home to see our darling girl Star before hopping out to see Mike our son in his on site accommodation, lovely caravan and nice coffee.

so here are the photo's

with a little commentary so you can understand, the giggle we had.  Dead cheap card stock A4 a full wallet cheaper than buying singles, so Christine was on a mission to get in her wallet as much card stock as she could quickly followed by Lols and I, with Matt being the resourceful type tapping down the wallets to get more in and then using his strength to get the bloomin popper to close, several pictures of this as we were at this for some time :)

After a complaint from the photographer we all faced the camera well sort of :) Just for those that don't know who we all are Christine to the left, Lols in the middle and me with the flowery jacket - and no I did not make it as the sales lady asked (if only I would be rich) - it is an Indigo Moon creation from eBay.
Just look at all those lovely colours
Here is Lols also now attempting the impossible - get a few more in.........................
and she did, well done Lols
Here we are almost finished emptying the card display
and moving down to some fabulous cheap baskets
Here is Christine still at the card stock, look at the intense face :) Isn't she lovely.
Here I am with my head in another cabinet, not sure what I found in this one
Here is Christine in the baskets
 Lols and I discussing products
By didn't we seem to be in the cheap baskets a while, Lols obviously had something take her eye
We then ventured into the market, here we are with our heads in the 50p ribbon baskets
 Such a difficult choice
Christine says I be having that one don't get away.........................................
and finally for Lols - this is my baby
As with all things the time ran away with us and we could have wished we had longer together, cannot wait for the re run

Enjoy your evening

Hugs Kate xx

Oh Kate.........I just can't believe you've done this to us! How could you show us photos that have half (maybe two thirds) of blog land drooling over the three of you immersed in crafting goodliness!!!? By the way......think the baskets are a tad too small! lol. Sounds like you had an absolutely wonderful time. Hope you have a super break.

That looks like afabulous shop and interesting outdoor market to get the lace bargains.
I write down all these shop names and villages in my journal, so that when Ii go to England again, i will know where to shop. Now they daren't close!
Last visit, I only found one scrapbook store...in Hemel Hempstead.

Now I have a list of shops...
Your day out looks like buckets of fun was had by everyone...glad to hear you got some paper bargains.

Look like you all had a wonderful fun day spending all your pennies. Wonderful photos Kate.
I had trouble leaving comment on your latest cards but I realised that the comment box went behind the blog along with the advert so must remember in future.
