Vintage Victorian Christmas

Good morning to you all in the land of blog
Before I move on I just have to respond to all of the lovely comments that say "I don't think I would give that card to the Mother In Law" I suppose for most that would be the case, however I happen to have the very best and most unique Mother In Law, she thought it was so her, so please don't fret :)  However I have the other Step Mother In Laws birthday coming up, and this creation will be less sassy.

Yesterday I got to play with my winning digital images from Tickled Pink, thank you Kellie.  I have a big wish list with these amazing images, and although I only made one card, I just had to use both images as they work so well together. I also was going to play in my photo shop package, but think it is nice to see how these can be used together if you are not savvy with digital images.  But you guessed before I could play I had to post off to the winner my 500 candy, so a trip to the post office, then I had to got get my boots and shoes re heeled, I don't have give my shoes some wellie (sorry could not resist that) whilst waiting for them to be ready for pick up had to buy a new hand bag, as my old one was a deaths door so to speak and finally had to pop to the craft shop, well you just have to don't you :)  So on my return here is what I created.
This is an 8" Victorian Vintage Christmas Card, I followed one of the Pink Ink sketches from a couple of challenges ago, as I really like it at the time, but did not get around to creating anything for that challenge.
I have used an olive green pearlescent card for the base colour and contrast.  The papers are from the Papermania Silent Night collection and so very vintage, I just love them.  The lace around the first layer of the dp is from Grimsby Crafts it was pure white, was.............and did not look right white so distressed this with Tim Holtz Antique Linen, so much better with the card in it's mucky state.  The ribbon was a white pull through ribbon which again did not match my intended colour scheme so I coloured this with R39 copics.  The little gold bells are from a local department store. The floral array in the main is Wild Orchid and the leaves are nestie cut.
The images were cut out and raised from the glitter embossed image plate and coloured in copics, using a gold gel pen for the bells and a clear glitter sakuro pen for contrast. This image is called

Lil Victorian Christmas Lolita Lylah

and isn't this image ace, he is called

Lil Victorian Christmas Scrooge Damon
