Too Old to Drink!!!!!

Good morning to you all in the land of blog
Today I am showing you the card I created to use for yesterday's fun, copic colouring card class at Grimsby Crafts.  It was lovely to meet some new ladies and one of the regulars kept me on my toes.

Both myself and another lovely new lady had a quick turn around from the class, she was going to work for her shift and I was heading home for a ten minute get dressed and out the door for a charity event.  We went to Louth Kenwick Park Golf Club for a 007 themed Lions delivered and mother in law organised Casino Night.
Now having not been to one of these before and after my class, I don't suppose I was really in the mood for it and thought I would not enjoy it, however as always when your mind is set like that, it was fabulous.

I won the most winnings for a female prize and then we bid on wrapped boxes of ???................my son won a very expensive bottle of water, then Matt won a bottle of Martini (quite apt) and then the last win was a lovely looking bottle Spanish maybe in origin, looked like banana children's cough medicine and when we got home and opened it, well it had to be done, it was a lovely banana and lemon liqueur.

Overall a fabulous night...................................

Anyway enough of all that so here is the card we made in class
It is a birthday card for a friend. Although I gave the class two options of sentiment.

Recipe
Base layer and contrast is black leather effect card - Grimsby Crafts
Papers - Kanban - Grimsby Crafts
Image - Crafters Companion (Poppet's Collection) Grimsby Crafts
Sentiment - Woodware - Grimsby Crafts
Pearls - coloured with copics - Grimsby Crafts
Paper shaper hand made flower - Grimsby Crafts
Edges distressed in TH Spun Sugar - Grimsby Crafts

Here is a close up of the image - coloured in copics
RV06, RV14, RV13, RV04, YG91, YG95, E11, E00, E000, G07, C1, C3, C5
Although the first time I used this image I used flowersoft on the flowers and it looked just great.

As always, I would like to thank all of my wonderful visitors and followers for the lovely and inspirational comments you leave, which allows me to hop on over in return to see your own lovely work and welcome to my new followers.

I would like to enter this creation into the following challenges
