Oh I am melting............... melting away for Winter Wonderland

Well it is that time again,
almost the beginning of the weekend and more importantly it is time for the next challenge at
But before we rush ahead into that, I need to mention the amazing number of entries for last weeks challenge, so many talented people with such detailed and creative work, loved visiting each and everyone of them.

This week we have the very talented Janet hosting the challenge, Janet has set the theme of

"An Easel Card, with Sparkle and Shine"

and we are sponsored by "I did it Creations"
Each of the DT chose one of the Robyn's Fetish digi images and created a card to meet Janet's theme.

I chose "I'm Melting 4 You" as I have lots of MSE sentiments around snowmen.

I took a fancy to the Sketch and Stash Sketch this week but went with my own colour theme.  Here is the sketch I followed
I rotated it on its side for the front of the card and back to its original for the inner return on the easel card.  So here it is
Sorry not sure of the dp paper designer, but the base paper is a pearlised red.  The DP was double sided and I used the trim provided edge on the reverse to make the strip along the middle, using my MS snowflake emboss and punch.  The base paper is in one strip and then I cut two thin strips of the red and placed these over the top, trimming back to line up the corners.  I then used my largest scallop nestie to create the circle shape, adding the punched strip across the circle and then the image trimmed in the red again on top of that.

Now for those of you who read the post below you will remember me struggling with my polar white flower soft snowflakes, well after them drying they looked just perfect so it was worth all the effort and the photo :)  I placed pearlised red self adhesive pearls in the centre of each snowflake for the shine requirement of our WW theme and the image is glittered subtly with Atyou glitter pens.

Here is a close up of the sentiment - just perfect for the image don't you think?
Then so I can try to show you the glitter on the melting snowman, which has been coloured with copics, the close up of the image.
So as you know the Design Team Ladies and I love to combine our cards with other challenges.  This week I am entering my card into the following challenges.

The One Stop Craft Challenge - Patterns, paisley paper I think you would call this.
Sir Stampalot - Bling - I wish the camera showed the Atyou better as it really does bling it on promise.
Cute Card Thursday - Whateva (anything really)

I would like to thank all of you who visit my blog and take the time to leave some wonderfully inspiring and sometimes funny comments, I really appreciate them.

Now as always Mr Blogger is being very helpful again, and will be posting this for me whilst I am at work................................oh next week I can post it myself as I will be having my weeks holiday.....starting like 4.30pm today :)  I will link via mobile blogging if I get the chance or if not when I get home from work and the shopping.

So all that is left to say is happy crafting and of course have a great weekend
