Harvest Moon Anniversary

Morning all

Here I am back for my weekly post for

Wild Rose Studio

today I made an Anniversary Card and, I used

Papers - Harvest Moon

Image - Harvest Mice

I used a Create and Craft half scallop card blank

The base layer is the papers this time with the lovely tattered lace border die on top of this.  I added the bow, roses and little rhinestone heart, lots of tonic gold pearl dots.  I layered the new sentiment onto a die base and cut out the image with my scan n cut.

I coloured the image on this one with my copics

So after all that fabulous information to send you to find those wonderful mousey images, here is my make for this week.  I made a card for an order and the requirements were a true boy, grandson, 1 year old and loves teddies, blocks and balls.

I think this image was perfect for the brief.

It is an 8inch square card, the base colour and contrast is navy blue, the papers are Papermania - one of the original pads.  The dies are Go Kreate and Spellbinders and I had to use my now 3 year old cameo to cut out the sentiments. 

The image was coloured in my copics which must now be over 5 years old and I even managed to avoid using my pencils which are new and I love them.

I hope you have fun raiding your stash to find all those oldies but goodies and cannot wait to see who gets the oldest piece of stash on a creation,

Wild Rose Studio Summer 2016 New Release and Candy Time

Morning all

I am so excited again as are all of the

Wild Rose Studio Design Team

and I bet some of you too, as it is that time again, well it is if you are not eagle eyed and have already spotted them on the website

Yes it is a

Here is a quick and it was quick creation using the following new releases

Papers - Harvest Meadow

Dies - Star Label, Little Bat, and Bat Border 

The base is  a create and craft half scallop card blank

I used black card and an orange paper, before adding the dies.  The MFT oval die fits the new die perfectly.  The sentiment is a House Mouse one.  I used purple tonic drops to finish.  Such a simple and quick card but very eye catching.

Anyway because I can and because I love to here is some thank you candy as an apology for me not being as active on my commenting to you all, I do have a great reason but will leave that for another day.

Dragon Flying

Morning all

Here I am back for my weekly post for

Wild Rose Studio

so today I have a lovely female generic card

Papers - Peach Blossom

Image - Dragon Flying
Die - Woodland Border and Oval Frame

I used a create and craft half scallop card blank

I used a pale pink as the base layer and contrast, with those gorgeous papers.  I added a panel down the side for the border die to sit behind.  I added a layer of pearl strings on the panel and sat the bow on top of this with a rhinestone heart and two little roses.  I added the image with a contrast shadow behind it, finishing with pearls and a pearl flourish heart.

The image was coloured in copics and sn pencils.

Happy Birthday

Morning all

Here I am back for my weekly post for

Wild Rose Studio

so today I have another lovely Birthday Card

Papers - Bella's Birthday

Image - Teddy with Flowers
Sentiment - Everyday Sentiments
Die - Woodland Border

I used a create and craft half scallop card blank

I used some pink card for the contrast with these gorgeous papers and my Sue Wilson double pierced squares to create the layers, along with the MFT pierced rectangles to cut out the image and it's frame.  I added the border die under a panel and added some pearl bling string on the panel before adding a lovely bow and a cameo and a rose.  I finished with tonic pearl dots.

The image was coloured in distress markers for a softer look.

Welcome Baby

Morning all

Here I am back for my weekly post for

Wild Rose Studio

so today I have another lovely New Baby Card

Papers - Poets Kitchen

Image - Birds on a Nest

I used a create and craft half scallop card blank

I used Kraft card as my base colour and my Sue Wilson Dies to create the layers and the little frame for the little bird cut out to sit in.  I added tonic drops around the inner frame and the outer frame and then added a bow, some roses a pearl medallion and the spellbinders banner for the My Sentiments Exactly sentiment.

The designer paper has been covered with double sided clear adhesive sheeting and micro beads added to give it a lovely look.

The image was coloured in copics and cut out with the scan n cut.
