I went for cool frosty look on this one
with a silver base layer and contrast using some more of my new nesties, but this one was really hard to use as the edge details are so delicate they do tend to break.  I cut the image out by hand using the inner line of the new die.  The papers sorry so old cannot remember the name or brand.  The bows are double this time with a little band of ribbon running behind the image plate and frame, with little white roses on the tops and two little snowflake charms underneath.  I added some pearls to the die cut too.

Here is the close up of the image coloured in copics and a icicles stickles on the feathers
this image is from an unmounted set available at Joanna Sheen called Sleigh Mice

Merry Xmas To You All

Good Morning to you All
and

Today I just have a little something to share with you all, as I am now all finished Xmas preparations and as you can imagine playing in my craft room.

This is another of those wonderful hats that my dearest friend Polly gave me the template for.  I was going to put this on an Alice Band and wear it for my Xmas party on Xmas Eve, however after creating it, it is far to heavy to wear on the band, so it makes a super ornament.

It is made from a 12 x 12 piece of card using Polly's template.  After painstakingly putting it together, I decided to add a layer of textured modelling clay.  This I then air brushed in R39, before adding the wonderful white fluff, the sprig of holly and some memory box white snowflakes with some ribbon roses.

Here is another view

I might make another piece and make this into a box yet, we will see, would be lovely to give a give in it.

Anyway that is me, as going to make myself a lovely speciality coffee, whilst I wait for Matt to get up, you see we went shopping at 11.45pm last night and got in at around 1.40am this morning, but it was so worth it, to be able to shop in Tesco with no hassle.

I tried to use up some old papers on this one :)

Such fun colouring this one, the base layer and contrast is silver mirror card, the edge punch snowflakes MS, ribbon from stash and so sorry the papers are that old I do not remember where or what they are.

The image coloured in copics to match the paper with lots of stickles glitter for the snow and liquid applique too.  The image when I bought it I thought it had the snow on it, but it does not so you colour up the image and then add the snow, so really I could have used any outdoor Xmas image :)  but this image being so adorable is Perfect Harmony and can be found here in the Simon Says Stamp Store
