Happy Birthday Bears

Good morning to you all

I know posting on a Monday, just thought I would surprise you all, I might be back on Wednesday, but lets see how I go on that one.  So this is my weekly post for 

Wild Rose Studio

where I get to play and inspire you with those gorgeous products, this time around I have 

used

Die - Oval Frame

Image - Bear Hugs

Papers - Polka Dots

and made this lovely little birthday card

This one again is a create and craft scallop card blank

Once again I used my Sue Wilson double pierced squares to create the first layer of super dotty designer paper, before creating a frame too.  I then cut out the oval frame and ran this through my hearts embossing folder.  I stamped and coloured up my image and then cut this out on my new scan n cut, now I have to thank the lovely Vixx for her assistance with upgrading it, so that it picked up the whole of the coloured image.  I added some pearl drops to the hearts on the die cut before adding the cut out image.  I added some bling around the frame a double layer triple layers satin pink bow a couple of IAR flowers and a pearl medallion, finishing off with the Sentiment on the Sue Wilson flag, so girly don't you think.

I made a friendship card

The card blank is from create and craft

The base layer is some texture off white card stock, I added on top of this, a square cut with one of the Sue Wilson's double pierced squares. I stamped the image and sentiment and cut this out with the floral frame.  I added some ribbon pearl and diamante bling down each side and after colouring the image raised this up from the card using a double layer of foam tape.  Finishing off with the cream bow and a pearl medallion along with a sprinkling of peach pearls.

Love how light and delicate this one looks and thank you to America for introducing me to the pearl and bling ribbon

Happy Birthday

Good afternoon

I have had a lovely weekend crafting and other than getting on top of my DT requirements I also managed to create a birthday card for an up and coming birthday on my list.  It is so cold here at the minute but no snow just frost that stays all day.

I decided I like the theme on SSS Wednesday and very rarely get to enter so here is what I came up with 

I used one of my create and craft scallop card blanks and some white card which has been coloured with one of my new distress inks, I made it stronger at one end and lighter towards the bottom to meet the challenge theme.  I then added a layer of sprayed glitter for sparkle and shine, a frame made from Sue Wilson's piereced square dies.  I cut an image out with my silhouette and stamped the sentiment in jet black.  Very CAS for me, so I added some bling string around the frame.

Spring Bear On Flower

Good morning to you

Wasn't it a cold weekend, I spent some of it playing in my craft room, a tiny bit of it doing housework and then the rest cuddling my little Gem.  She is now 11 month old and really settled and a very good girl. She has helped us immensely to cope with the loss of our beloved Star. Although the photo's of her and Star together show how much Gem has grown since we first got her.  My son will be moving out soon, so I will be moving my craft room into his bigger downstairs bedroom and then Gem will be able to come in and out as I craft, can't wait. In a couple of months time Gem will be having a friend join us another little girl to keep her company, can't wait for that either :)

So today is my normal day for posting my card to inspire you with those products from

I wanted to make a thank you card using Spring colours, so here is what I came up with 

using

Die - Oval Frame and the Flower Frame sentiment

Papers - Peach Blossom

Image - Bear on flower

The card blank is a 14.5cm square scallop from Create and Craft

The base colour and contrast is white.  I love how the white contrasts so well with the peach tones in this paper pack.   I added a frame made from my new Sue Wilson's square double punched layering dies, this allowed me to add a frame of bling from the lovely America around the card again.  I added the oval die with the copic coloured image onto it and tilted it so that the image was straight.  I added some corner die detailing, the with love die sentiment from the Floral frame and then those lovely florals from IAR and a little apple from Live and Love Crafts.  I sneaked a bow in their too. I added some of the bling to the sentiment and the image frame.

The image is coloured in copics with added stickles on the flower centers and the butterflies.  I decoupaged the teddy larger flowers and the leaves along with the butterflies, to create some extra depth.

Just have to say thank you to the lovely America for her Christmas Gift package of this gorgeous rhinestone mesh bling, isn't it fabulous, think I have a new favourite item in my stash room.

I made this card from a create and craft scallop card blank and used my new Sue Wilson Double pierced squares to create the bottom two layers, one in the white and then the one in the designer papers.  I then cut out the flower frame and Sue Wilson pierced flag.  I stamped the sentiment onto the flag.  I stamped and coloured the image and then I added the flower frame over this before adding the ribbon, bow, bling, rose, rhinestone heart and pearls. Such a pretty girl card.

Love how the bunny peaks through the flowers on the frame.

I have been a little remiss over the holiday period and have not been hopping around as much as I would have liked, however will try to improve on this moving forward.
