A Little Valentine - Wild Rose Studio Design Team

This week I decided to use an image meant for a birthday which really suits the Valentine themes at the moment. I also wanted to enter a couple of challenges I had seen so here is what I made, bet you can imagine who this is for :)

oh looks like I had been drinking when I took this, but the one below is a little clearer, I do apologise not a drop passed my lips honestly :)

So today I paper pieced the present using some of the new papers from the Wild Rose Studio

Anything Goes with a Special Cut with the House Mouse Design Team

Good morning to you all in the land of blog

Today sees the next challenge at the

Here is my design team inspirational piece, however don't forget to hop over to the main challenge site to see the rest of the gorgeous eye candy.

Now I tried to make a card out of the box for this one, but ended up locating an image to suit the theme and then created a card, but the papers and the black stuff (again still not sure what this stuff is actually called) well anyway they came from the wonderful Paula :) they really set the feel of the card. This card could be an any occasion card, as although their are love and kisses on the layer paper and a heart on the image and the charm, without a sentiment on the front or inner it could be for many occasions.

The base layer and contrast is black card. The MS double heart punch has been used on the corners and the layer. The ribbon is from Grimsby crafts, the charm from the wonderful Paula as are the papers. I added pearls around the image on the edge punch and corner punches and a little rose tinted with DH.

It Takes Two with the Winter Wonderland Design Team

Good morning again to you all in the land of blog

Today sees the next challenge by the Icicles, at the

Winter Wonderland

where the wonderful Sally is hosting the theme of

So here is my take on this great theme, but don't forget to hop over to the main challenge blog to see some more wonderful inspiration. Again I am sticking to the Christmas theme to help me on my way for that busy time of year.

So this is a 15 cm square bottom opening card. Now this year I am trying to keep to flatter cards, for ease of packaging and posting, we will have to see how this goes :)

The base colour and contrast is Kraft, and the papers are again some of my old ones, decided needed to start using them. The die cut is a Marianne die, cut twice and overlapped. I added some snowflakes to each corner and a nestie banner/ribbon die with the computer generated sentiment. I have air brushed this for colour.

The image is an LOTV what a lovely couple, they have been coloured in sepia tones to match the papers and card stock, with some ice and lace stickles for added sparkle and a little greenery snipped off my artificial flowers and a red glitter berry.
