Thinking of You

Morning all

Here I am back for my weekly post for

and more or that

so today I have another lovely Thinking of you Card

The card blank is a create and craft half scallop using the scallop as detailing on the inner

I used white as my contrast on those gorgeous papers.  I layered the scallop grand and plain circle on used foam pads to add to the card as shown, I then used a MFT die to cut out the image and distressed this with a TH distress ink to create the lovely pierced white frame for the image.  I stamped the everyday sentiment from WRS onto the image plate curving it to go around the image.  I then layered the image onto the floral frame and used foam pads to raise this evenly on the card.  I added rhinestone strings around the edge and some tiny tiny rhinestones to finish on the card itself.

The image is coloured in copics.

I will be back again soon and thank you for taking the time to view my blog

hugs and have a great weekend

So after receiving my stencil, which was a background stencil and my silver texture paste, I had to really think how I could use this in my design, so I hope you like what I came up with.

I made a Mother's Day card

Using a Create and Craft half scallop card blank, some black, white and mint green card stock.

I started by placing the stencil on the black card stock and taping it down with masking tape.  I then ran the texture paste over the stencil, removed the tap and stencil and left to dry.  I cut a border around this and layered this onto white card.  I used a base layer of black underneath and wrapped a mint ribbon around this, placing pearl strings on top of this.  I cut the image out with my scan n cut, stamped the sentiment and placed this onto a MFT die base layering the mint using the same die to the back.  I placed this onto the card and finished off with a lovely bow a pearl medallion and some all important tonic pearl drops to match the card.

Now I am sure you want to continue on your hop so here is the order and the next hop link is at the bottom of the post, have fun

Bunny Love Wild Rose Studio New Release

Morning....................

Well you just knew it would not take me long to post one of those

creations, so I made an Easter Easel Card using

Dies - Bunny Love
Papers - Poet's Kitchen

The card blank was cut to fit the base die

I cut the die out of white textured card, then reserved some of the cut outs.  I layered this onto some of those new designer papers and cut leaving a border of the pretty creamy yellow papers.  I then cut the card base to fit this.  I turned the card base into an easel before adding the gorgeous bunnies die and the stopper with the Easter sentiment, such a quick card to make and love how it turned out.

I will be back again soon and thank you for taking the time to view my blog

hugs and have a great weekend

2 today, Lets' celebrate

Good morning to you all

As you know a Wednesday means more of my lovely

inspired creations, today I am sharing with you a Birthday Card for a 2 year old

using
Papers - Bluebell
Image - Emily Panels
Sentiment - Vivianna Greetings

The base card is a create and craft scallop card, I reversed it so the details of the scallops was on the inner.

Happy Birthday

As promised back again for my weekly inspiration for

today I am sharing with you a Birthday Card

using
Papers - Icing on the Cake

This card was created following a Xmas Card I received from the lovely Jackie, hers was a smaller version, and I wanted to create it super sized so that an image could be added.

The card is made up of 3 squares, scored down the middle and joined together to create the pyramid.

I used my Sue Wilson Double Pierced square dies to create the squares and love how the designer papers look so pretty on the white.  I cut the die and distressed the TH DI through the die to create the soft background.  I coloured up my image and used the scan n cut to cut it out to perfection (I was never good at fussy cutting).  I then added my usual embellies, the double, triple layer pink satin bow, a cameo and surround from the HH, some HH roses along with some IAR flowers.  The Sue Wilson flag holds the sentiment again distressed through the die and then some tonic drops on the butterfly and the card to complete.

The image coloured in copics and some platinum stickles for the flower centres.  Just love how it turned out, will definitely be making some more of these cards.

As always thank you to all my wonderful visitors for your inspiring comments, I will be over to see you shortly and yes due to my cold I have been a little remiss with my commenting, so sorry.

I would like to enter the following challenges

Really Reasonable Ribbons - Celebrate with Ribbon or Trim
QKR - Birthday Cards
Wags n Whiskers - Furry Friends
Penny Black and More - Anything Goes with Stamps and dies
Stamping Sensations - Anything Goes
The Ribbon Girl - Use any Image
Magnolia-licious - Green Gold or Pink
Simon Says Monday - take a leap into the unknown (new card style)

hugs
Kate
