Milton Thank You from the Wild Rose Studio New Release

Image - Milton A5 Stamp Set

This is an 8" square card and has one layer of purple, one layer of white and another layer of purple, before the top panel.  I sort of went to town with all of the stamps and spent ages colouring, but I adore how it turned out.  I used my copics for coloruing on this one.

I do love how the frame can be used both ways to create horizontal and vertical greetings, and the greetings look great on their own too.

I thank everyone for all of their lovely comments and I will be back again soon and thank you for taking the time to view my blog, my items are now for sale on my etsy shop

So here they are, these are A5 Stamp sets, for those of you who love stamping and colouring, but they work well for other paper crafting also.  I found them fantastic for working on 8" cards as well as 6".

So enough of my waffle here they are in no particular order but well Bella has always been a favorite of mine, she got me hooked initially.

Dashing Through the Snow

Morning all

I am back with a lovely card I made using my Cardio Stamps, I love using these as they are so quick but really effective.

I used my lilac distress ink and a template negative, to create the shaping, I then stamped around the edges, but went again with my embossing powder to create the snow effect on the leaves. I added a shaped sentiment and a little bow to complete.

Don't forget I have Candy in my sidebar, if you have not already entered and you can find more candy on the Wild Rose Studio blog.

I thank everyone for all of their lovely comments and I will be back again soon and thank you for taking the time to view my blog, my items are now for sale on my etsy shop

Celebrate Everything

Morning all

I am back with a lovely card using those gorgeous products from

I made a Celebration Card

 I used

Image - Harvest Mice
Die - Flower Frame
Papers - Harvest Meadow

This card was made back to front, this allowed me to use the Flower Frame Die as the centre piece.  So I cut this from the cream card stock and then created an outer frame out of the Sue Wilson Die, I placed the beautiful papers behind these and then created a green layer behind, placing this onto another Sue Wilson Die and finally creating the card blank for it all to fit onto nicely.  I added the copic coloured and scan n cut out image a lovely sentiment and some tonic drops in gold, before finishing with a bow and a fancy button.

Don't forget I have Candy in my sidebar, if you have not already entered and you can find more candy on the Wild Rose Studio blog.

The card has several layers created using Sue Wilson's double pierced square dies.  All have been distressed.  The contrast is the distressed cream card stock.  I added holly sprigs, a bow and flowers to finish the look along with glitter for that frosty feel on the flowers, cosmic shimmer glitter drops and tonic pearl drops.

The image is coloured in copics

West Ham Football Friendly Engagement Card

Hi all

Thought I would pop on and share with you a card I made at the request of my wonderful husband Matt.  We were invited to attend an engagement party for a work colleague.  Matt asked me to make the card in very specific colours to represent the couples love of their football club - West Ham.

Making an engagement card is not difficult however being faced with these specific colours was on this occasion.  Matt chose the coloured card to meet the club colours and then I just stopped dead in my tracks, not colours I would normally put together.  Maybe I would put red and turquoise together but these seemed so much different.

Anyway after getting over the initial struggle, here is the card I made

An 8" card made from  white card stock

The burgundy initial layer, followed by the pale blue and then the burgundy again.  Topped with a white embossed piece before I started the focal point.
I used my Sue Wilson dies to create the focal point and the sentiment flag holder.  Although you cannot see it the two squares are interlinked, by cutting one.  I wove the ribbon through these and wrapped the ribbon around the layers.  I added a big triple layer triple bow and a fancy rhinestone button, before adding the red roses, blue lilies and the foliage.  I finished off with tonic drops in the corners, around the dies and the end of the flag.

I actually loved it when I had finished it and the party was great.

Christmas Night Scene

Morning all

I am back with a lovely card using those gorgeous products from

I made a Christmas Card

and  I used

Dies - Reindeer and Cottage

The card blank is a Create and Craft half scallop.  I used black as the base layer.  On the second layer I cut out a grand nestie plain circle.  I then tore paper to create hills from the bottom up, before using the cottage die to create the scene.  I added glitter to the hills, and embossed the top layer.  I finished with adding the reindeer in gold mirror card and added a red nose with tonic drops.

On Your Naming Day

Good morning to you all

As I am sat here scheduling lots of cards made over the last few months, the sun is shining through my office window, so hope it stays for the day.

The card I am sharing with you today was an order for a naming card, like a Christening card but without the church bit.  The request was for blue and Beatrix Potter. So here was what I created.

This is an 8" card made from cream card stock

The papers and image are from the internet.  I used cream as the contrast and created the second layer with a MS PATP set.  The frame for the image is from Wild Rose Studio and the sentiment banners are Spellbinders.  I added embossed spots to the image plate and Peter Rabbit is cut out using my Scan n Cut.  I created a double, triple layer bow from two ribbons before adding a little star charm a pearl medallion and two roses.  I finished off with pearl strings and pearls in blue and cream.

I would like to enter the following challenge

Crafty Ribbons - Anything Goes with Ribbon or Lace

Enjoy your weekend everyone and hope you have some sunshine where you are also.

From Our House to Yours Snowmen Family

Morning all

I am back with a lovely card using those gorgeous products from

I made a Christmas Card

and  I used
Papers - Birds and Berries
Image - Snowmen
Die - Snowframe

The card blank is a Create and Craft half scallop

White is the contrast on this little card.  I used those gorgeous papers creating layers at angles to show behind the lovely Snow frame.  I used a MFT rectangle die to cut out the image and placed this with a glitter edging onto the die frame.  I added the Sentiment on to the image plate.  I added ribbon, a bow, rhinestone ribbon, a rhinestone heart, some rhinestone bling and a little silver bell to finish the look.

The image is coloured in copics, with a little glitter on the hats and to ground them onto the snow at the bottom

Safari Wedding

Good morning all

Now normally as you know, today is the day that I share my inspiration of those gorgeous products for Wild Rose Studio.  But as I did that on Monday this week instead, so I thought I would share with you today a card that was ordered by a friend for her best friends Wedding, the Wedding had the theme of Safari

So here is what I came up with

I made a special trip to the Range for the main supplies for this card and was very lucky to find a full paper stack of Safari papers (tick) and then whilst browsing the ribbons, found an animal print ribbon (tick), all I had to do then was put it together.  I used created lots of flags with Sue Wilson's pierced flag die and ran these down the edge, adding some Crafty Ribbons beautiful lace down the flat edge.  I then added the lovely triple bow, a super sparkly mother of pearl and diamante fancy ribbon a sentiment, the requested image and a flurry of flowers.  Tonic gold pearl drops finished the card off.
I was thrilled how it turned out.

Thank you for taking the time to browse my blog, and I will be back again soon/
