Christmas Puppy by Wild Rose Studio

Good morning to you all

Today I am showing you another of the new releases by Wild Rose Studio from the Traditional Xmas recent release, this one is called Christmas Puppy.

As you can imagine having my week off I am having a ball in the craft room, so for today's creation I have  again using some more of those wonderful papers by Bearly Mine.

Loved working with this image so cute

Base layer is silver mirror card, with the MS punched edge layered with some more of those wonderful Bearly Mine papers, the large snowflake die by Memory box creating the backdrop for the WRS circles sentiment, and a spray of Wild Orchid Crafts pink tinged roses with the addition of some Crafty ribbons silver wire spirals.

The close up of the Christmas Puppy image coloured in copics with the Atyou stickles, liquid applique and the gold Atyou glitter pen.

ATC Turnabout with the House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge DT

Good morning to you all in the land of blog,

ATC Turnabout

and

a $10 Gift Cert to Sweet Stamp Store

So here is my design team inspirational piece, but don't forget to hop on over to the main challenge site to see the rest of the gorgeous creations by the team .
Now I have never in my life made an ATC, so I called in the expertise of a talented local crafter and a good friend, thanks Sam :)

I created my little ATC and then created the card around it.
I made a New Baby Card, now the blue green representing what I call a mint green card.  This is the colour I knitted with along with cream and peach when I was expecting my first child.  In those days they could not predict the colour, so this was what they called an either or colour choice.

The base colour and contrast is the mint green.  With papers and lace along with the die cut leaves from Grimsby Crafts.  The double layered MS heart punch with Hobby House mint green pearls. The Ribbon and bow from stash.  The floral array all bar one flower are available in ivory from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I have airbrushed these in BG32, just a light dusting along with some icicles stickles.

The image is coloured in copics and is called "Baby Shoes"  This image can be purchased here at the Simon Says Stamp on line store. The image plate has been airbrushed in the BG32 also and a fine sprinkle of the tiny pearls from the Hobby House added.
Can you see the escaped one lol xx (must move it, one pinged out whilst laying them and for the life of me could not see it, yet when you have photographed it, well all becomes so much clearer!! )

Well what are you waiting for - off you squeak and get creating and enter this super challenge, will see you over there!!!!!

I would like to thank all of my wonderful visitors and followers for the lovely and inspirational comments you leave, which allows me to hop on over in return to see your own lovely work.

Good morning to you all in  the land of blog

This is a little something I created just because I felt like it and thought that I needed to play with these lovely feathers and to celebrate my week off from work and the start of lots of playing :)
I made another 8 x 8 inch card full of Oh La La

The image is Kanban the papers Paris Nights by GCD Studio.  The base colour and contrast is black.  Using the grand circles and pink feathers for the frills.  A nestie tag for the sentiment and a gorgeous black charm of a lily one of my favourite flowers.

Here are some close ups
the gorgeous charm, shame to use it really.

and the image coloured in copics, with some pink feathers and pink liquid pearls.

Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog
would hate you to miss out!!

So here is my take on the papers and image requested to use, but you can see many more on the main challenge site starting yesterday and running every day, all different styles with the same image and papers
I got these wonderful leaf dies from our local garden centre a while ago, and thought they would be perfect for an Autumnal creation.

I went for the browns with a little tinge of orange.
The base is a 6.75 inch PATP square, folded in half and distressed with TH antique linen
I chose three papers from the selection and used a deep brown card as the base layer and contrast.
The image plate has been distressed also.
I added an MS punched edge to wrap my dotty brown ribbon around to tie in a little bow at the front.  Added some beautiful lace from Wild Orchid Crafts under this.  Added a little Autumnal coloured rose and two leaf charms along with a selection of pearls.  Ribbon and pearls from the Hobby House.

Here is the close up of the image, coloured in copics.

and a close up of the little leaf charms, may have to get some more of these and that lovely tiny pretty lace too.

I would like to say hello to my new followers, and thank all my wonderful followers and visitors for their lovely inspiring comments, which allow me to hop over and visit you in return.

Nativity Play New Release by Wild Rose Studio

Good morning again, almost the end of the week, but not quite
Today I am showing you another of the new releases by Wild Rose Studio from the Traditional Xmas recent release, this one is called Nativity Play.  Again for reasons beyond my control, I appear to have gone more vintage, I wonder if it is these new nesties that are doing it to me??

Anyway here is my creation, again using some more of those wonderful papers by Bearly Mine.
Quite a soft Xmas card this one and love the colour of these papers.
Base layer is a pearlescent coffee paper, with the MS punched edge wrapped by that lovely soft pastel ribbon again tied in a double bow.  The pearls on this one are from the Hobby House as is the antique snowflake charm.

The close up of the Nativity Play image coloured in copics with the Atyou yellow for the star and halo.

Baby Jesus new Release by Wild Rose Studio

Morning to you all in the land of blog
Today I am showing you another of the new releases by Wild Rose Studio, the Traditional Xmas 2012 release, I enjoyed creating this one, I used a sketch from one of the challenges and some more of those gorgeous Xmas papers from Bearly Mine, wanted a vintage feel to this one.
I am loving these new die cuts from spellbinders so pretty, and this sketch was a great one to follow.  Loved getting my lace out and distressing all the edges, don't you just love making a mess :)
I used a pearlescent red border to this card to pick up the red dress of Mary.  I added some Xmas tree lace and some deep red pearls to match the base colour.  The ribbon is recycled from a present I received and the bling stars, charm and bells are from the Hobby House

The image is Baby Jesus and is coloured in copics with a little Atyou olive, silver and red.  I added those tiny clear diamante's for the twinkly stars and distressed the edges of the frame using TH vintage papers.

If you want to see more of the Wild Rose Studio collection or be inspired by others hop and see us on

I went with the Harvest theme on this one as the last was the Autumnal one.  So here is my creation, but do not forget to hop on over to the main challenge site to see the rest of the gorgeous eye candy to inspire you.

I made a generic card

Base card is a 6 3/4 square PATP with an MS punch, then folded in half.  I then layered the green base card which is also the contrast with some gorgeous Papermania Papers.  The MS heart edge punch has been used to create the ribbon/bow layer.  The ribbon here is from the Hobby House as are the pale pink gems used to decorate.

Here is a close up of the return with the leaves from the unmounted stamp set called "Flying" available at House Mouse Designs

The image coloured in copics with just a little Atyou pen added here and there
