New Beginnings with the Joanna Sheen Design Team

 Today is the first challenge of 2013 at the  

Joanna Sheen Challenge  

The theme is

New Beginnings

So here is what I created for my design team inspirational piece but do hop over and see all the rest of the wonderful creations on the main challenge blog

I made what I think you call a light box card, you see I received to use for my creation the wonderful 

Josephine Wall Project Book and CD, it has some gorgeous images in it, which I printed out onto glossy photo paper and some equally stunning papers. It is a creation to celebrate a New Home.

I chose this wonderful tree, image as it reminded me of a tree house :) well a magical one at that.  I used some of the matching papers but also some of the others on the CD, they are all so dreamy.

I used black as my contrast colour and adorned with airbrushed WOC flowers, some punched leaves some pearls, tiny bling and a charm.  The sentiments are computer created and die cut using the nestie banner/ribbons, these have also been airbrushed to match.

The flowers with the little key charm, this was in my Christmas package from the very talented and generous Paula, thank you hun, it looks just perfect.

Now due to my new year resolution, each creation I make must have a box, so here that is, using those lovely papers.

My Crafty Heart

So here is my take on the theme and I have kept this to, the Christmas side of things as I need to ensure I have enough cards for this year, was a little low on numbers last year. But don't forget to hop over to the main challenge blog to check out the wonderful inspiration their for you.

This is a 15 cm square bottom opening card

The base layer and contrast is some lovely purple card, with those wonderful sparkly pretty papers.  I have used the MS doily punch, some pretty lace, some gorgeous ribbon, creating  a double bow, with some small pink pearls, a charm, a flower and of course the great image.

The image of course by Kenny K, coloured in copics with Atyou and stickles to finish.

Bella with Flowers with the Wild Rose Studio Design Team

Good morning to you all in the land of blog

Here is another one of those cards that I created over the Christmas period, you see this is what happens when you get new stash it sets you off in creativity mode.  On today's card the die cut flower was from a set I received from my step MIL and the gorgeous pearl pink brad I received from the wonderfully talented Lols.  The ribbon I received just from Santa :)

I added a charm some pearls the hand made die cut flower with the brad centre and some foliage along with a charm.

Lincolnshire Based Crafters

Morning to you all

Just wanted to hop on and let you know a couple of things.

Firstly I went to spend my Xmas pennies at Grimsby Crafts yesterday and oh boy!!!!!!! if you did not already know the Xmas Stash is discounted, which means if you are like me and make Xmas cards all year round, then there are some gorgeous clear sentiment sets, adorable Nellie Snellen images, lots of papers and not forgetting some die cuts...................okay so you now know what I got.  

As I would not want you to miss out, hurry in and grab your own.

and

Secondly, as I have missed bumping into so many of my local crafting friends, just thought I would let you know that on Saturday 5th from 10 am onwards, I will be demonstrating in the Grimsby Crafts shop, some of the newer goodies, you know what some people i.e. me will do to grab some extra crafting time :)

So hoping you can pop in so I can have a catch up.

If you are one of my copic card class ladies, I will have created the card for the next class and this will also be on show from Saturday, was colouring the Molly Bloom image last night, love it :)

Today I get to show you a card I made over the Christmas break, I just had to use one of my presents from the wonderful Lols, thank you Lols, doesn't it work so well on this card :) If you are wondering it is the gorgeous die special by Memory Box for Simon Says Stamp only.

I made a thank you card and so pleased with the way it turned out, as my mojo has taken a dip over the last few weeks, but think it might have returned now.
