With Love at Xmas with the Joanna Sheen Design Team

 Today is another fabulous challenge at the 

Joanna Sheen Challenge  

The theme is

With Love at Xmas

So here is what I created for my design team inspirational piece but do hop over and see all the rest of the wonderful creations on the main challenge blog

okay for those of you who are not sure, it is my version on a ribbon Xmas Tree

I have used many of the gorgeous little images on the 

Joanna Sheen unmounted House Mouse sets

but there are others you could use

How did I make this one

one 12 x 12 piece of card any colour and rolled and secured in a cone shape, trimming the bottom level

Several colours of florist ribbon, cut into 5 inch lengths

One Ribbon curling thingy, the one with the shredding teeth

Shred each strip, fold in half and attach going around in colours till at the top.  I used an elastic band to hold the ribbon whilst each layer dried.

Once dry, cut all the hoops and fluff up the ends

Add a star, mine is four star die cuts, scored at the half way point and all glued together for the all around look.

and of course lots of image of your little mice

mine are coloured in copics, with added glitter and Atyou.

hope you give it a go, mine looks great on my fire surround.

House Mouse Critters Don't you just love them !!!!!

This is a card I made a little while ago, and had forgotten to post

I love using the Go Kreate dies to make lovely shaped cards.

I have used some papers from

Wild Rose Studio

from the Letters from Paris stack

they are so beautiful

The base layer and contrast is black, using those new fancy oval nesties for the delicate image plate and sentiment holder.  I have run some lovely lace around each of the die cuts.  Added some flowers and pearl swirls for the finishing touch.  The edges have been softened with TH spun sugar.

Here is what I created for my design team piece, but do hop over to the main challenge site to see the rest of the awesome creations

I created an easel card.

The base colour is a pearlescent red, with the aqua papers from one of my very old stacks, with no cover on it now sorry.  I have used my new nesties on this one so pretty along with some gorgeous satin red ribbon tied in a triple bow adding a little snowflake charm.

The image coloured in copics to match the paper with lots of stickles glitter for the snow.  The image is from the unmounted set a Joanna Sheen called Candles, it should also be available at Simon Says Stamp.

I used the smaller image for the return sentiment space, again lots of glitter.

Santa Claus is Coming To Town with the Winter Wonderland Design Team

 The base layer and contrast here is gold mirror card, with some gorgeous papers that are that old, I am sorry I cannot remember what they are but they are gorgeous and come in many colours.  The image is WOJ and the little bows from stash and bells from the Hobby House

All Shapely for the Wife this Christmas

Good morning to you all in the land of blog

hope you are all well

Here is another of those Wife Cards, that I created over the last few nights

This is one of the new elegant grand nestie circles the largest folded in half, using the smaller grand elegant nesties for the paper layers.  The base colour is a lovely dusky pink with papers in the olive greens again a very old pack so cannot remember the name of them sorry.

A Close up of the snow covered trees with their little red baubles, these are Marianne dies with liquid appliqué dripping on them.

The flowers air brushed in R59 and lots of stickles added.

The outer sentiment airbrushed again in the banner/ribbon nestie die and the little added charm.

The inner sentiment in one of the new fancy square nestie dies, also airbrushed with Y20

To My Wonderful Wife at Christmas

Good morning to you all in the land of blog

wow were there some wet fields on my way to work yesterday, do hope you are all taking care travelling and I am thinking of those struggling with the floods.

Over the last few days  I have as you may have noticed been into creating cards for all those males out there, who want something extra special for their wives.

So here is another one

This is another 8" square card using some of my very old papers, so again sorry cannot remember who they are by.

The base colour is a lovely pearlescent red those gorgeous green and beige papers, a lovely glass coated poinsettia with some punched holly leaves.  Beautiful lace around the image plate which is one of the small grand nestie circles, layered onto one of the new fancy grand circles.  The beautiful heart die cuts from Memory box.  The sentiment is computer generated and sits on another of the nestie ribbon/banner dies.  Another double bow with some little red pearls and tiny diamante's around the image.

Here are some close ups

The double bow with the ends wrapped around the card, with a couple of bells for that Xmas feel.  You can just see the heart die peeking through.

The poinsettia with the spun glass for that frosted look.

The sentiment this has been airbrushed whilst still in the die.

The gorgeous House Mouse image and that lovely lace surrounding it and you can just spy the little diamante's on this one
