But you know me I have to add all my delicious embellies
Those base layers and contrast are a deep navy blue card
The papers are Kanban, the doily, ribbon, button, twine, flower, wooden embellishment are from my stash.
I used the Hobby House Shabby Blue frantage on the wooden embellishment and the white flower and added if you can spot it one of the Hobby House Christmas charms.

I added to the topper some liquid appliqué for the snow on the ground and falling all around.

using the new Sentiment from the
and as this release does not come with papers, I have chosen to match this one with

I made a valentine card
The base colour and contrast is a deep green to pick up the greens on the papers.  I used the decorative grand circle nestie and it's matching plain circle.  I used some gorgeous lace to frame the simple square cut image before adding ribbon in a triple bow, a double heart charm, that gorgeous large pearl medallion and the sweet little roses.  All embellishments are from the Hobby House (the link is in my sidebar)
The sentiment and it's beautiful decorative surround has again been cut with my cameo :)

The close up of Elsie coloured in copics with a little frosted lace stickles on the rose and the glossy accents on the heart.

and just because I loved how the cameo cut out this sentiment
A close up of this with the distressed pink edges

The first image our gorgeous Elsie and those sentiments
and the second image containing the most amazing Wedding, Valentine, Love, Anniversary or with those fireworks New Year or even just travel and Paris...........................
Aren't they just WOW!!!!

You may have already seen some beautiful posts from the other members of the Design Team and if you need to find where they are you can find all the Design Team details here

So as you can imagine, it was so difficult to choose a starting image and sentiment for you, so here is one of many of my daily new release posts to introduce you to them all in turn.

I start off with

using the new Sentiment from the
and as this release does not come with papers, I have chosen to match this one with
although the
Always and Forever and the Letters from Paris sets would equally work well.
I made a generic card, sent with love, it would suit so many occasions don't you think?

The base colour and contrast is a very pale green, using the floral meadow paper from the pack to pick up the pinks on the roses and the green on the foliage.  I added some pearl strings around the distress edged image plate and threaded some tiny ribbon through the new PATP before adding some roses and little punched leaves.  All embellishments are from the Hobby House (the link is in my sidebar)
The sentiment and it's beautiful decorative surround is my first stamp and cut using my cameo :) love the perfection on the cut, how did I ever manage without my cameo?

The close up of Elsie coloured in copics with a little frosted lace stickles on the roses

and just because I loved how the cameo cut out this sentiment
A close up of this with the distressed pink edges
and of course that delicate cut.

As always I would like to thank all of my followers and visitors for the wonderful comments you leave me, this allows me to visit you in return to see your own gorgeous work, which I love to do.  If you are a regular then keep watching for those daily previews of the new releases and coming soon some new release candy

A Blast from the Past

Good morning to you all

Today I would like to share with you some old and new.  I was asked if I could make an
Anniversary Card for a Wife.
Not a problem, so I e mailed my Pinterest link for these over.

Not expecting what the order came back as and this was the choice.
So here is a card I made within the first few months of card making.  I had to score the embossed squares myself and used a peel off for the sentiment, as at that time I did not have the large selection I have now.  All the flowers were from either the Hobby House, Hobby Craft or the local cheap shop.  The pearls from the Hobby House.  My photography was on an old camera and without my day light lamp. This one was a 15cm square card and think it was pearlescent cream.

Anyway so I had to case my own card, so here is my revamped new card for the order.

Slightly different :)

This is an 8" square so needed some strength to hold the flowers and still stand nicely.  So I layered up onto a white base a layer of burgundy then a layer of white and then another layer of burgundy before adding my embossed top sheet.  This embossed sheet if from my new M-Bossabilities folder that I got from the Hobby House, went with the fancy choice out of the two.
Tip: if you bought an original grand callibur and you bought one of these folders, due to the white paper guide it will not fit, however a pair of strong scissors will cut it neatly so you still can use it.

I added an MSE sentiment and layered this on the burgundy and raised this with foam pads, before starting on adding all of those little pearls from the Hobby House.  I added several flowers the burgundy mulberry roses from the Hobby House the leaves are a woodware punch the lillies are from I am Roses and the gem's and some of the other little fill in flowers are from the cheap shop.  I added a Hobby House charm to finish off.

He loved it and I am sure it will be another one for his wife to store, so I placed it in a clear fronted box, so she can store it safely.

So all that is left to say is thank you to all my wonderful visitors and followers for your kind words, which allow me to visit you in return.
