50th Wedding Anniversary Elegance with the Hobby House

Good morning to you

Today is my day to inspire you with those gorgeous high quality products from the 

Hobby House

I recently received an order for a 50th Wedding Anniversary card and had an idea in mind, so here is what I created.

I made a box to match :)

Here is the card on one of those arty views.

Quite CAS for me again and maybe even a little elegant?

Hobby House products used are:

Pearl Flourishes - Fancy

Mulberry Roses - Golden Trio

New In - those gorgeous buttons

The base layer is gold mirror and the top layer plain white card run through the 8 x 8 inch embossing folder which I got from the Hobby House.  The ribbon is from my stash and the little bells are also. The die cuts are nestie's that I treated myself to from Grimsby Crafts.

I had to go green and lemon with this one as only had these papers left, as they are so gorgeous I had to use them all.  The base layer is lemon as is the contrast.  The sentiment is on a Nellie Snellen die the round one smallest.  The flowers are from my stash.  The ribbon, cameo, charm (ace bone) and the pearls are from the Hobby House.  

Here is the close up of the image coloured in copics with a little shabby white fran tage to finish it off and a little stickles

These new images are a dream to colour.

Now this is going to be a long post but then I think it needs it to allow you to see all aspects of this creation and all those gorgeous products on it, this little number was shown on Create and Craft and I was super thrilled, you can find a video link below to see the video clip,  but do also pop over to the challenge site to see the rest of the awesome inspiration for this challenge.

This creation started from an original template which was created by the wonderful Sandra, you can find this template here, although I have to let you know that I have altered the template in some areas and created other bits to add with the assistance of my fabulous husband Matt.

I will start with the bits that Matt made.  He made the front grill template, the lights, the white walls on the tyres, the little round side mirrors and the little window wipes :)

The wheels are made from a recycled toilet roll and all the grey has been airbrushed with either Warm or Cool grey copics.

Photography for this item was done by the awesome Steve - thank you Steve awesome even the reflection on the front lights and the reflection on the ground just superb.

The base colour is a blue pastel as is the contrast, using two of the blue papers from the new stack.  The image is on a small circle nestie with the matching scallop circle to frame.  The ribbon, cameo, charm, pearls, tiny rhinestones and fran tage are from the Hobby House.  The sentiment is sitting on a Nellie Snellen die.

The base colour and contrast is a pale green, with those gorgeous new papers layered on top, using squares to create the design, and some nesties for the frames.  The ribbon, charm, pearl medallion and ribbon from the Hobby House.
