To The Bride On Your Wedding Day

Good morning to you all

Today is my day to inspire you over at the

Hobby House

our theme this month for the challenge is

Ribbon

So I decided to make a Bridal card with ribbon, not sure if I am loving this at the moment, but I am sure it will grow on me

I used my silhoette cameo to cut out the lady and her dress :)
I then created my card base and layered this up with those gorgeous papers from the Hobby House, before using my cut image as a base to creating the ribbon wedding dress.  I added one little stamp from Wild Rose Studio a little green flower and those tiny mint pearls. It did take a long time to dry between the folding but worth it I think.

Those products for you

A warm welcome to my new followers, and I would like to thank all of my wonderful visitors who take the time to leave me such inspirational and kind comments, and this then allows me to hop on over and visit you in return.

Here is a little close up of that Wild Rose Studio image coloured in copics with glossy accent on the cherry and a little stickles on the frosting

With Love on Valentines Day

Good morning to you all

I have had the most relaxing weekend ever, my miserable cold/flu seems to be leaving me and I am starting to feel more like myself again.  I spent the whole weekend colouring :) and here is just one of the many images I enjoyed colouring up and yes it had to be a

image and I am in Valentines mode for Matt's work mates so a few more will be following :)

So here is this mornings card
quite a lush feel to this one
The base layer and contrast is black with those
and
I added an MS heart punched layer to wrap the ribbon and bow around and then layered some cheesecloth under the fancy oval nestie, all before getting carried away with my embellishments
In the main from the Hobby House but some of the flowers are from Clickit4Crafts.  I have used a big bling surround on a red rhinestone with some little pearls and ribbon and those Marianne Die fern branches.

The image coloured in copics is
A warm welcome to my new followers, and I would like to thank all of my wonderful visitors who take the time to leave me such inspirational and kind comments, and this then allows me to hop on over and visit you in return.

The Eiffel Tower and Wild Rose Studio New Release Reminder

Good morning all
today I am back to show you the

Wild Rose Studio New Releases

I am sure by now you all have spotted your favourite and next purchases :)

don't forget to click on the link above to see them all on that fabulous new revamped website

so you are wondering what I have for you today, well I had this ace idea about making a 3D Eiffel Tower, so went on to my silhoette online store and found one :) how easy was that.  So I bought it cut it and was totally gobsmacked at the cut work.  After just looking at the pieces for quite some time, I thought I better attempt to line it all up and stick it together and then of course decorate it.

So here is my little Eiffel Tower
I just added some Hobby House roses and a little rhinestone sparkler and then lots and lots and lots (took ages) of the tiny tiny pearls (the link for the Hobby House is in my side bar)  The little pearls represent little lights so that flying items won't miss it :) I have never seen the real thing so went on guess work.
so
Just a little reminder you can find my new release candy link above this post as a sticky so if you have not already entered do hop and take a look.

Fireworks in Paris - Wild Rose Studio New Release

 Good morning all
I am resisting the French connection this morning, although thank you for you lovely comments, Mr Google Translate is fabulous don't you think.  Honestly it is years since I sat my exam in French and the lack of usage means of course that you do forget the majority of it, so sticking to the English today and the final daily showcasing of those wonderful

and my last one is

and again using the new sentiments
and those papers
Of course a Valentine's card, but this would be great even for New Year I think :)

The base colour and contrast is a yellowy cream and those olive green vintage feel papers some of the lesser used ones in my pack but thought they worked so well with the image colour.  I used the MS double heart edge punch, the image plate is the decorative nestie oval.  I added some lace from my stash.  The pearls, heart flourishes, flowers, cameo and charm are from the Hobby House and the ribbon from my recent win from Crafty Ribbons and it is wire edged.

I often get comments on my bows and use of the ribbon and thank you your comments always make me smile.  In the main when getting perfect twirls like this the ribbon is usually wire edged, which allows the triple bow, made on my little wooden bow maker, to be shaped to make the bow look so full.  The twirls are made by wrapping around a pen and just held in place with a little glue.

Anyway back to the image coloured in copics

and a close up of that new sentiment cut out with my new cameo

Just a little reminder you can find my new release candy link above this post as a sticky so if you have not already entered do hop and take a look.

and again using the new sentiments
and just a little french note those papers
Letters From Paris
adding a little
Je ne sais quoi
don't you think?

I made an engagement card
The base colour and contrast is a yellowy cream and those lovely soft pink papers give it a real soft feel.  I added a panel of MS double punched hearts and the papers with the little Eifel Tower on which just shows through the sheer dotty ribbon.  I added a charm, a champagne sparkler (perfect for the occasion of course) some pearls, heart flourishes, a heart shaped pearl and a spray of flowers.  All embellishments except the beautiful pink lily are from the Hobby House, the little lily is from Clickit4Crafts.

The image of course,  coloured in copics

and a close up of that new sentiment cut out with my new cameo
