To the Happy Couple

Good morning to you all

Today is my day to inspire you with some of those gorgeous products, from

and I had a very special order for a card and knew exactly which ribbon would go perfectly on it.

You see it is very hard to get really nice cards for those ladies who are getting married but not any more..................

It's the Mrs & Mrs Ribbon, from the Wedding Owl Collection

Wedding Owl Ribbon - Mrs & Mrs Bridal White

The card itself is using some black and cream card from a really old paper pack but I only had the cream in the ribbon and not the white so had to go cream but it looked great.  I used my silhouette cameo and an online file/s to create the frame for the image and then to create the image also.  The image is actually a man and a lady and I cut this down the middle and also flipped the lady over to match them up to make the heart in the middle, before decorating in my usual style

I love how it turned out

I would like to say thank you to all my lovely visitors and those that leave comments, I will be hopping over to see you in return

Happy Anniversary

Good morning to you all

As you know it is my inspiration day for

Wild Rose Studio

 So Using
Image - Spring Bunnies
Papers - Silverton Hall
Sentiment Die - Oval Frame
Sentiment - Romantic Greetings

I created a Stepper Anniversary Card (A2 size)

This is made from a Which Craft Template and I used brown card as the contrast on the first layer and then the rose tinted papers on top.  I cut out the oval die in brown and then cut out the image, I shadow dropped the brown die behind the white image one.  I added the dies as show.  I used my guilding wax and my frantage along with a little bow on this one.

Here is the close up on the cute image, this one coloured in distress markets

I would like to thank all of my wonderful followers, visitors and commenters, for making me smile whilst I work through my notice period.

I would like to enter the following challenges

Oh and don't forget my current celebration candy, in the side bar

Happy Birthday

Good morning to you all

Today I am inspiring you with those gorgeous products from

using some of the gorgeous Vintage Butterflies ribbon, called

Vintage Butterflies Ribbon - Bikes Latte

I was going for a transport theme for this friends birthday card and this worked well I thought

so here is my card

I also used some of the spotty buttons in Lemon

The image is a new one for me,

although if you know of an image like this with a tractor on it, please do let me know as I need one urgently

So the base layer is brown card stock and the top layer is some mucky cream/brown scripted paper, not sure where from to be honest, sorry.  I wrapped the ribbon around and then tied a knot on a piece and added this.
The image is just plain card, stamped in versafine brown, distressed with antique linen and then wet with a baby wipe before the edges were distressed and rolled and left to dry.  Once dry I then distressed with frayed burlap and stamped the sentiment before adding to my card.

I finished off with the buttons and charms and love how it turned out.

thank you so much to all of my lovely visitors and I will be hopping to see you soon

Finally the end is in sight !!

Good morning to you all

It has been sometime since I managed to be normal on my crafting, blogging and commenting, however the end is now in sight and a new beginning is accompanying it.  I made a decision a couple of months ago to move out of Education and my current position due to, well just far to much work in the hours of the contract.  I have been working most nights just to be able to do my job at the level of satisfaction that I require of myself in any job.  When I did find some time to craft it had become difficult for me to muster the enthusiasm to even colour (which is my favourite bit).  However I have now found myself a new job and handed my notice in at the beginning of this week.  So in three weeks and counting, I leave my current post and I am moving on to pastures new.  I am looking forward to setting in to my new role and returning to my crafting and cannot wait.

Anyway that is the update on my time and here is another leaving card made for one of my team who recently handed her notice in, she has now moved to another department in the Company, so wishing her well was this card ordered by my boss for her.

Again this card has extra signing leaves to allow for all those signatures that are needed on a keepsake card.

This is an 8" square card layered in pink and the white, the white has been run through an embossing folder and distressed with spun sugar.  The ribbon wrapped around and the triple layer triple length bow added.  A fancy button a little charm those lovely pearls and the floral flourish finish the card, along with some stickles on the flowers, sorry you cannot see it that well.
The sentiment has been computer generated.

She loved it :)

I would like to thank all of my followers and visitors and commentators for their lovely comments, which have kept me going over the last few months as things got harder and harder at work.  To thank you all I will have some candy tomorrow and there will also be some on the WRS website too.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges - I know don't faint, but it is Saturday and I am no longer doing any work from home :)

Leaving Card

Good morning to you all

Today I am sharing with you a card for a member of my team that has left, the card was ordered by my boss.  Judith will be very much missed but I know she is going to be happy moving forward.

Here is the card which was signed by many and accompanied a tea party, lots of presents and with all the learners to say goodbye

The base layer is a lovely burgundy with a top layer of white and then another layer of burgundy before the white embossed top layer.  I then wrapped the gorgeous satin burgundy ribbon around the card added a triple layer double bow followed by those lovely flowers pearls and fancy button.  I finished off with the little butterfly.
The sentiment of course is computer generated and distressed around the edges to match the colour theme of the card.

I would like to thank all of my visitors and will be hopping over to see you all shortly

Get Well Soon

Good morning to you all

today as you know is my day to inspire you with those gorgeous products from

So Using
Die - Floral Frame
Image - Spring Bunnies
Sentiment Die - Oval Flower
Sentiment - Everyday Sentiments

This is my own created svg file for my cameo, it is a perfect size for the 6 x 6 papers, and for the die frame too.  I placed the new paper on the back of the frame and built up the layers adding the image on foam pads, before adding some little ribbons, roses and pearls.

The sentiment dies have been cut on white card, coloured with copics and then glittered up.  I added pearls for decoration

Thank you all for putting up with my lack of presence at the moment and as a treat I will be sharing some candy with you shortly so keep watching.

Time Well Spent

Good morning to you all

Today I thought I would share with you what I spent my time doing the last few days of my week off.

Isn't it funny that when you buy all your crafty stash and put it away that you very quickly forget what you have.  So I had a clear out, added some more draws, fully labelled everything so I could find it and voila here is my new tidied Craft Room.

This is the view from just inside the door, you can see that the top cupboard still needs sorting, it holds all my boxes for up cycling.  My scrapbooks and bow maker are on the top of one stack of draws in the alcove and my grand on top of the others.  My hooks for my ribbons which are now overly full and my new A4 card storage cabinet.

A little way around and you can see the new shelving the first two rows are 10 draws high and the others eight with room for 4 more should I need them.

My work bench and lovely large window for great day light and to watch the world go by

Underneath again four draws of flowers and my grand die storage

My photo area on top with my little draws and all my 12 x 12 pad draws underneath and you can just see my new glitter and liquid applique bottle stand

The view from the alcove and the little draws under my display stand which now holds bits and bobs

and the floor which is uber clean, cannot wait now to head and play in it and mess it all up again NOT!!!!

Will be back again soon with some candy and a creation

happy crafting all

Wedding Anniversary

Good morning to you all

and a Happy Easter too, I don't have an Easter card to show you today, but I do have a card order that I did a couple of weeks ago.

So here without to much introduction is the 8" square card for a special occasion

The base layer on this is a lovely ruby coloured card and then topped with the crisp white which has been run through the embossing folder.  The sentiment has been computer generated to personalise it and then it has been covered in fine clear glitter for that special touch.  I layered this onto those well known nesties and added foam tape to raise it off the card.  I added a couple of small tags and a double heart charm, before adding a triple layer triple depth satin bow and lots of florals, with the foliage peeking out and a fancy heart rhinestone button to the centre of the bow.  I added little pearls in the spaces of the embossing and some rhinestone hearts at the top and bottom of the fancy oval die cut.

thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and I am working on that home work life balance, so that I can return to my normal posting and commenting.  To thank you all for putting up with my absence keep looking as I will have a treat soon

take care all

Easter Basket

Good morning to you all

and welcome to the next challenge at

where the theme is

Easter

and here is my inspiration, however do hope over and see the rest of the gorgeous eye candy from the Buttons team.

I made an Easter Basket - no chocolates as I ate them oops

I found this lovely svg file on the sihouette online store and it took minutes to cut and minutes to put together which gave me more time to play decorating it.  I used the gorgeous lace from the Etienne Cotton Range along with some pearl strings and then some pink large pearls and lots of droplets of pearl white, loved how it came out and how it looked filled with little eggs, oh gosh the diet did not last long as the eggs were delicious and did not even make it for the photograph sorry!!
