I made an almost monochromatic little boys birthday card
Using

The base layer is a gorgeous deep blue, topped with digital papers from Bearly Mine and I used the grand nestie decorative circle and plain circle for the layer and a small circle nestie to frame the Wild Rose Studio sentiment.

Birthday Wishes

Good morning to you all

At the weekend, I got to do lots of playing, Matt went fishing :), I have really got to grips with my distress marker water colouring, so will have something to show you soon, however this little number was one of my copic colouring sessions and I do love now and again colouring up those Magnolia's

So with a birthday card for you today and a little blue and cream
and I had not done this style of card for ages so thought I would re visit it
The contrast is a cream card stock as is the base layers and those papers are Papermania from Grimsby Crafts.  I used all of my grand nestie circles, plain and decorative to create the card base and the layers.  I used my new paper pierce die (from My Mum's Craft Shop) to cut out my image and distressed with antique linen through the die, before adding some frantage.  I used the MS heart punch and frantaged this up too.  The sentiment is stampersaurus and this sits in a nestie banner die.  I added a few flowers from Clickit4Crafts and the Hobby House, the string of pearls, charm, rhinestone heart, fancy button and ribbon from the Hobby House and the pins from Live and Love crafts I think.

Here is a close up of the image coloured in copics with a little Atyou glitter pens for the stars, headdress and champagne
A cool frock in those blues :)

I would like to welcome my new followers, and thank all of my visitors who leave me such wonderful comments, allowing me to hop over and visit you in return.

Oh a reminder my current WRS candy is running in the post above and don't forget you can also enter the Wild Rose Studio Inspirational Blog candy too.

Happy Father's Day

Good morning to you all

Wow what a lovely day it was yesterday, hope you all had some of that yellow stuff like we did.  However on Saturday with all that wet stuff, I had a chance to play, so made this little number to add to my Father's Day card collection.

The base layer and contrast is a deep green, I used some papers that I got from Grimsby Crafts and then one of the images from the Hobby House Art Colouring Book Elisabeth Bell - Summer Daze.  The ribbon and rhinestones are from the Hobby House also and the sentiment one of the best Father's Day ones and I love this set is by Wild Rose Studio.

Here is the image coloured in copics, oh and just wanted to say thank you to Vicky my WRS DT buddie for guiding me in the direction of pierced die.
Love how it frames the image with all those tiny stitch marks. I got mine from My Mum's Craft Shop as my normal shop was out of stock.

Anyway a quick hello to my new followers, an apology for my MIA with my comments to all my lovely visitors as I have not managed to get back to visit you all over the last few days, but normal service will resume now :)

I would like to enter this one into the following challenges

Good morning to you all

Back as promised with that front cover card from

Papercraft Essentials

for

Now when Dulcie told me the theme and colours I was just in my element as it is all purples and female birthday's which I have to say works so well with the WRS products identified to use.  So I loved working on them.

So here is the front cover card to inspire you to pop out and purchase your copy

Using
Dies - Floral Frame
Papers - Bluebell
Sentiment - Birthday Greetings

The base layer is a lovely middle range purple, which picks up the purples on the image an those papers.  The die has been layered with another die behind to make it pop off the page.  I wrapped that lush purple ribbon around the corners of the card, before adding those gorgeous Hobby House embellishments, the pearls, the rhinestone flourish and the fancy button. I distressed the edges of the image through the die with TH DI in shaded lilac

Here is that close up of the image for you coloured in copics

Thrilled to be Published Wild Rose Studio

Morning to you all

It has been a little hectic here, sorting out Matt's car as it was written off when a baby Bambi ran out in front of the car a couple of week's ago, thankfully Matt was not hurt, unfortunately the Bambi and the car are dead.  After all the inconvenience he finally picked his new car up yesterday.  I also managed to finish my large wedding order and things are finally settling down in the household.

Anyway today I am thrilled to let you know that a couple of months ago, the lovely Dulcie owner of

asked me to create some cards for the Papercraft Essentials Magazine and yesterday my copy popped through the door, and with excitement increased as one of my cards is on the front cover, I do so love being a cover girl and at my age too!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I am allowed to share one card with you, so will be doing that tomorrow along with - yes you guessed it some more candy, and again the candy will be in two places.  One lot on my own blog and the other on the

So to wet your appetite's for tomorrows posting and to encourage you all to hop out and buy a copy

Flutterby's with Wild Rose Studio

Good morning to you all

Hasn't it been quiet on my blog, well you see I have been working on a Wedding order, which I will show you all soon, but did not want you to forget about my normal weekly post for the

and that Candy that is running on not only my blog but also on the

which is some awesome goodies from the New Release

What have I got for you this week, well I loved the butterflies in the new release but also remembered those gorgeous butterfly papers from one of the early releases, and thought that they would work together so well, so

Using
Papers - Butterfly Glade

I have another generic card for you to check out

such lush colours don't you think? and this was such a quick make

The base layer and contrast picking up the mint green in the papers is mint green, I have edged the oval frame die with some distress ink in the green, not as light a colour as I had hoped but it is not too bad.  I then used the butterfly die and some more of those lovely papers to cut the butterfly using the mint green for the body.  The sentiment is I believe a Woodware one.  See a quick make :)

Here is a close up of the butterfly, cut from the papers so pretty I think

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome my new followers and thank each and everyone of my visitors who take the time to leave such inspirational comments, which allows me to visit you all in return.

I would like to enter this little number in the following challenges

Anyway enough of that and onto today, where I have one of my card orders to share with you, this order is from a lady who is starting to become a regular of mine, this time she asked for a Wedding Card, so here it is.

This is an 8" square card

I have gone with lots of layers on this one, starting with the black and bringing in the pink before returning to the black.  The white layer has been stamped and embossed before adding the two hearts with the black heart scallop edging.  I added some little pink pearls, pink roses some greenery a little triple bow, a fancy button and a double heart charm, from the Hobby House and then the little wedding rings from Crafts U Love.  Really enjoyed making this one.

Dancing Poppies New Summer Release by Wild Rose Studio

Morning all

I am having such fun with the new releases, from

lots of ideas in my head and then I see in advance all those gorgeous creations by the rest of the Design Team too, wow you are not going to want to miss those daily postings on the

or that candy that is on offer, but before you hop off to catch up, here is my creation for today

Using

I made one of those generic cards, well this die would suit so many occasions and colours but I went with yellow and black
I layered up the yellow and black card stock, ran my white through my 6 x 6 embossing folder, used my decorative grand oval nestie and its matching plain partner.  I ran the die through in black and then again in white, I left it in it's die to colour up with TH DI Mustard seed and then popped it out and ofset it with the black.  I added the little yellow triple bow some black fronts, a rose from Clickit4crafts and a rhinestone heart sparkler and a double heart charm from the Hobby House, oh and four gold pearls from the HH too.

Here is a close up of that die
Stunning isn't it

Anyway just to remind you that I also have candy running in the post above, so don't miss out on that one, as well as the one on the WRS inspirational blog
